Much love to the #gamedev community who supported us along the way!
This solo indie dev is making a game where you clean old video game cartridges.
- Every cartridge is procedurally dirty
- Peel tape, remove stickers, clean grime
- No timer and no fail state
It's called Cozy Game Restoration. Would you play this?
Heartfelt and honest #IndieGameDev video about the journey of making #indiegames
Sometimes a finish line is just the start of another journey. 🕹️🤩

Love this take on friendly fire.

Is there a mechanic where there's an advantage to the team for finishing off a friend? Maybe an #IndieGameDev who works on shooters can figure that out. Thanks @JimSterling 😄
Top 3:
1. Space Question
2. Police Quest
3. King’s Quest
Any thoughts?
Also, if I wanted an #indiegame that captures this vibe, what should I play? #gamedev
@charlieINTEL It’s tough sledding to get a game to market. Seems like studios need almost instant uptake to stay the course. Sad for the team, more sad about some of these comments. Geez people, empathy doesn’t cost anything. #gamedev
Game dev isn’t just “make a game.”It’s:
- Doubt
- Learning 12 jobs
- Sleepless nights
- Testing something 50 times just to break it again
- And still choosing to do it the next day.
That’s love. We make games because it's what we love to do. Keep going, keep learning!
Wild #IndieGameDev video by @VoltekPlay . Being indie is hard enough without getting your work stolen 🤯 - happy to hear that they now have their game under control out on Android and iOS!

Yeah.
I am going a bit mad.
I will be 56 in 4 days. That is 37 years of working in a job in gamedev, And 44 years of actually making games.
You would think I should be more successful , but I am not. I lost a lot of money these last few years.
But yet I am still here making fucking games.
“Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.”
still stuck in this fucking room.
