👋I’m not seeing enough talks about this on Twitter, so would like to raise awareness for the @Stacks community
➡️Emergency fork is being voted on by the CAB members as we speak to fix a bug. If both CABs and Steering Committee approve.
➡️SIP-022 implementation pushed if passed
🚨Attention Stacks community🚨
A #bug in the Stacks increase call has been identified, which is affecting #stacking rewards in the current cycle. This is causing some payouts to be lower than expected.

There is only one logical response to @SenWarren’s declaration of war on crypto: let’s fund their opponents.
We’ll raise Bitcoin & crypto capital to fund their opponents. Show them the power of decentralized communities.
Step 1: Start BTC and ETH DAOs 👊
The @Stacks 2.1 update is live 👁️
Clarity has been upgraded with new keywords that make the following tasks possible or more straightforward:
⭐ Write Clarity contracts that react to #Bitcoin transactions
⭐ Make it easy to write Clarity contracts that ingest off-chain data
So it seems like large Bitcoin mining pools like F2Pool are also Stacks miners and extracting huge MEV
This is bullish for Bitcoin and Bitcoin layers like @Stacks. With adoption comes MEV
I back the proposal by @JudeCNelson below to increase fairness

There’s a really stupid place where progressive antipathy towards “the rich” and libertarian antipathy towards “the bailouts” intersects.
That really stupid place is when you start treating all the money in small banks as "obviously unsafe, bro".
And the operative term is SMALL. Because the too-big-to-fail banks are considered to have more than the FDIC deposit limits. So all deposits go to them.
And thus the progressives end up concentrating all the wealth in big banks. And the libertarians end up centralizing all the control with big banks.
Whatever you are doing tonight....
Pause and remember that Julian Assange is currently imprisoned in a small room for over 20 hours a day.
He has had to deal with this year after year
It is an outrageous scandal that will haunt the US and UK for the rest of time

All I said was I'm giving pleb developers who previously built on BSV for plausibly justifiable tech/business reasons
And are now building on BTC
The opportunity to show me with their actions, absent of evidence of any public or private past wrongdoings, that they're well intentioned actors
Now my replies are getting more BSV shills, so let me make myself perfectly clear:
BSV IS NOT BTC, I'M NOT INTERESTED, AND NEVER WILL BE
BTC welcomes all people
People grow and change; they join scientology or toxic maximalism for a variety of reasons; they can leave or be on their way out of a cult and it doesn't make them a bad person
Being a pleb is different than being a leader in the cult—we shouldn't give scammers or grifters a free pass—but not all crimes are equal or deserve equal punishment
If you're not part of a cult and want to share technical insights from BSV, any Bitcoin fork, or any relevant technology that's helpful in gaining a deeper understanding of Bitcoin and how to build on it—I'm all ears and I'm not here to judge
If you're a pleb who holds BSV, any altcoin, or shitcoin, I don't care
I'm open to discussions with people I disagree with and don't fully trust who exercise good faith, use logical and reasonable arguments, and haven't done anything wrong
However, if you want to shill or promote BSV in my replies or anywhere else, you will be blocked
The same goes for any toxic maxis trying to attack Ordinals builders; exclude honest people from BTC; or limit how people can use or spend their Bitcoin
I'm hoping you'll love a Clarity developer tool I've made: "Clarigen"
Clarigen improves the DX for Stacks devs in two ways:
- Dramatically less boilerplate
- Complete type safety, out-of-the-box
I think it's easiest to show an example of what code looks like with and without Clarigen. The first two images are when writing Clarinet tests, and the last two are when building web apps.
I've been working on this tool for over two years. 2 re-writes later, after using it to write thousands of lines of Clarity and multiple apps, Clarigen has become an invaluable tool for me. I hope you like it too!

I’ve had a few people ask about my thoughts on Ordinals marketplaces.
We put a lot of thought into marketplace design, functionality, and user experience, and it’s clear to me the best path forward right now for Ordinals is a trustless, PSBT-based approach. Here’s why:
Excited to announce the completion of an audit of noble-curves, an elegant elliptic curve cryptography library written in JavaScript & TypeScript
@paulmillr produced some incredible work and I was pleased to sponsor an audit by the talented professionals at @trailofbits
