Part of the value creation is the M&A and multiple arbitrage buying the small guys at 5-10x and the platform is worth 15x. Once those acquisitions get more expensive, that strategy is less attractive and the platform multiples can definitely drop. Same thing happened in the car wash industry. The largest and best operator no longer does M&A

@Will_Schryver Most likely when revenue declines there’s material margin compression. Under the covers there’s a lot of fixed costs both in HVAC but a lot of other SMBs

@Will_Schryver Ah gotcha thought it was like a normal TL with mandatory 10% amort a year vs structured like a mortgage. 1.5-2x coverage is much more comfortable
