No global state. No public mempool. Authorization and privacy enforced at the contract level.
Composability limited to the parties involved.
Canton's architecture is different by design.
If you're coming from Ethereum or Solidity, here is what changes when you build on Canton.
Smart contracts are written in Daml, not Solidity. Daml enforces authorization and privacy at the contract level through signatories, observers, and controllers. There is no global state. Each party only sees contracts they are authorized to access.
There is no public mempool. Transactions are coordinated between parties through a mediator. Non-participants cannot see or front-run pending transactions.
Composability works differently. Applications can interact within the same atomic transaction, but visibility is scoped to the parties involved. Third parties see nothing.
Our developer documentation includes a dedicated Canton for Ethereum Developers module that maps Solidity concepts to Daml equivalents.
.@Trize_io and @Chainlink have deployed the first onchain proof of insurance for tokenized private credit on Canton.
Authorized participants can now independently verify coverage data without relying on a counterparty.
β Full announcement.
Chainlinkβs institutional oracle infrastructure helped markets verify the reserves behind an asset.
Today, with @chainlink and @CantonNetwork, @trize_io extends that same verification logic to what protects the asset, introducing onchain proof of insurance for tokenized private credit, beginning with the Kairos Digital Loan Notes programme.
This is live and already operational across our private credit offering in the U.S. and Europe.
This first-of-its-kind application of institutional oracle infrastructure on Canton creates a verification layer where authorized participants, including institutional allocators, public-sector and government-backed programmes, auditors, and regulators, can independently validate the insurance coverage data tied to a tokenized asset without relying on a counterpartyβs word.
The significance is structural.
If Proof of Reserve verifies that an asset is backed, Proof of Insurance verifies that it is protected.
Both are prerequisites for institutional and public capital to move onchain at scale.
With Chainlink infrastructure, coverage records are structured, anchored, and independently verifiable, replacing paper-based processes, bilateral confirmations, and fragmented documentation with a single source of verifiable truth.
T-RIZE is the structural layer bringing this to production. We onboard assets, institutions, and now public-sector issuers into verifiable-data frameworks on Canton, handling issuance, administration, governance, and integration end to end.
Private credit is only the beginning.
The same logic extends across insurance-linked structures, reinsurance-backed products, collateralized assets, structured finance, real estate, and government and public-sector programmes. Any market where trust depends on verified data, enforceable controls, and auditable records.
Canton provides the institutional network layer.
Chainlink provides the verifiable data infrastructure.
T-RIZE delivers the issuance, administration, governance, and integration layer that connects them.
This is the infrastructure institutional and public digital markets have been waiting for.

Part 1.2. Infrasturcture: Super Validator Operations
Super Validator (SV) status carries governance weight and milestone obligations, on infrastructure that has to stay live 24/7.
The Canton Foundation's SV node is operated by @IntellectEU. Host your weight on top and earn SV rewards for completed milestones without running SV infrastructure yourself.
CatalyX is one of the largest SV weight hosting providers on @CantonNetwork.

Governance participation on Canton is earned through operational commitment.
Sweat equity, dedicated workflows, and production deployments carry more weight than capital alone.
@Wesarn_real discusses on @TheRollupCo.
Sub-transaction privacy, CIP governance, fair launch, burn-mint equilibrium, and atomic settlement. Each design choice serves a core function within Canton's architecture.
That is what makes institutional activity onchain possible.
Canton was built around a set of design choices that most blockchains do not make.
Sub-transaction privacy as the default. Governance through 55 Super Validators and the CIP process. Fair launch with zero premine. Holding fees that create economic equilibrium. Atomic settlement without exposing transaction data.
If you had to pick one, which design choice matters most for Cantonβs long-term success?
Daml enforces authorization and privacy at the contract level, with composability scoped to the parties involved.
Solidity contracts deploy without modification on Zenith and gain atomic composability with Canton's full institutional ecosystem.
Daml was purpose-built for exactly the kind of financial contracts that institutional workflows require: authorization and privacy enforced at the contract level, composability scoped to the parties involved, and a model where no single party sees more than their role entitles them to. These aren't limitations, they're the design decisions that let JPMorgan, DTCC, Goldman Sachs, and Visa run production workflows on @CantonNetwork.
For Ethereum developers who want access to that same institutional ecosystem without starting from scratch in a new language, Zenith is the entry point. Existing Solidity contracts deploy without modification and gain atomic composability with everything already live on Canton: the privacy, the authorization model, and the institutional counterparties included.

Under CIP-0116, @Trize_io has locked 30 million $CC across two Featured Apps on Canton.
25M for tokenization as an asset issuer.
5M for risk analytics and decentralized machine learning.
Rewards tied to the network activity each generates.
In compliance with CIP-0116, @trize_io has locked 30,000,000 $CC across two Featured Apps on @CantonNetwork :
β Tokenization FA (Asset Issuer): 25M $CC locked
β Risk Analytics & Decentralized ML/FL FA (Non-Issuer): 5M $CC locked
Under CIP-0116, Featured App status is no longer a designation. It is a position you fund and defend. Locked capital is the condition to enter it and the condition to hold it. We committed at the level our pipeline requires.
That status places T-RIZE inside Cantonβs core Featured Application reward economy, where rewards are tied directly to the real activity an application generates. Issuance, risk analytics, and decentralized machine learning each produce that activity. The more institutional throughput we drive, the more the structure returns.
But throughput is not granted. It is qualified.
Every asset that reaches issuance through our applications clears a structuring and qualification standard first: eligibility, collateral logic, covenants, disclosures, governance. Most do not clear it. The ones that do are institutionally deployable by construction, which is what makes the resulting activity real and the rewards durable rather than incidental.
This is where the model compounds. Qualified issuance concentrates activity into a narrow set of workflows, and the economic layer that powers those workflows scales with everything they carry.
The capacity we locked today is sized for the volume those standards are built to admit, not the volume on the network now.
Our objective is to structure that upside in a balanced way, so the rewards generated by our Featured Apps reinforce the wider network: application growth, issuer activity, user participation, and long-term utility.
We did not buy a label. We funded a position, set the bar to enter it, and aligned our economics with the activity that clears it.
The market follows the plumbing.
