I made Elias Pettersson highlights video. This is a re-upload. I had to edit some faulty clips & make the music as smooth as possible. I hope u like it. Itโs my first video, just wanted to show my appreciation for Petey. #Canucks@_EPettersson@Canucks

@snizzzzzbone@18jeremywagner@tajjastistan@NHL Third, have you even watched him play? His puck skills are elite af, he is deceptive and has an insane hockey iq. Look at any of these clips
1. https://t.co/EMQD4lLHFT
Fourth, he spent most of the season learning NHL hockey. He was barely playing at 65-70% of his full potential
@snizzzzzbone@18jeremywagner@tajjastistan@NHL First, he spent 75% of the year in the Top 6, playing against high level competition
Second, nobody scores 40 goals by "luck". He's a smart hockey player, he gets to the net and has a mean wrist shot. And over the year, he adapted to take more shots and use it as a weapon (1/2)
@snizzzzzbone@18jeremywagner@tajjastistan@NHL context matters
if any elite 1st line talent spends time on the Bottom 6, that is going to effect his numbers. If you take him off PP1 for an extended period of time, that is going to effect his numbers
A player like that will naturally improve, by receiving more ice time
@snizzzzzbone@18jeremywagner@tajjastistan@NHL that his numbers will improve?
thats common sense, he is at least going to be a ppg in the NHL, with a minimum 40 goal, 40 assist player
@18jeremywagner@snizzzzzbone@tajjastistan@NHL And?
He has already shown enough tools to prove he's elite. And with more ice time, especially on PP1, his numbers will only improve
Not to mention, playing on European size rinks vs North America is night & day. That adjustment alone (+ NHL skill) will help him a lot next year
@Spirit_Coin@ChrisFaber39@CanucksArmy It is not a race, if you rush development, you get stuck with Jake Virtanens
Let him cook in the AHL with Colliton, and in 1-2 years he will be ready for a 3rd line center role
@Spirit_Coin@ChrisFaber39@CanucksArmy because he was the best prospect in the Islanders system?
He also has legitimate Top 9 potential in the NHL, those kind of players have a lot of value
@Sixblooms1@ChrisFaber39@CanucksArmy this is my best guess, based on past rosters and chemistry

@snizzzzzbone@tajjastistan@NHL It was his 1st season in the NHL and he was playing on the 3rd, 4th line for a good part of it. He also swapped with Boeser on PP1
A full season on PP1 and a permanent spot in the Top 6 will get him a lot more points. He is still learning the NHL playstyle, and will only improve
@GSurreycanucks @karansaujla@richardzussman lol okay
The SPS have good leadership, it is not easy to infiltrate. It takes a lot of time and training to be a police officer. You get vetted by multiple people, and there are daily performance reports
You watch too many movies. This isn't 21 Jump Street
@GSurreycanucks @karansaujla@richardzussman SPS have more police officers on staff, and will put all their time and effort in reducing crime in Surrey.
While the RCMP has to deal with every other municipality, thats a distraction. There is a reason they have not been able to curtail crime in the past. We need a new vision
@GSurreycanucks @karansaujla@richardzussman public safety comes first, if you want to pay taxes for any social services, the police is number one, especially when it comes to Surrey and the surge in crime
