Fourth, he spent most of the season learning NHL hockey. He was barely playing at 65-70% of his full potential

Second, nobody scores 40 goals by "luck". He's a smart hockey player, he gets to the net and has a mean wrist shot. And over the year, he adapted to take more shots and use it as a weapon (1/2)

if any elite 1st line talent spends time on the Bottom 6, that is going to effect his numbers. If you take him off PP1 for an extended period of time, that is going to effect his numbers

A player like that will naturally improve, by receiving more ice time

thats common sense, he is at least going to be a ppg in the NHL, with a minimum 40 goal, 40 assist player

Not to mention, playing on European size rinks vs North America is night & day. That adjustment alone (+ NHL skill) will help him a lot next year

A full season on PP1 and a permanent spot in the Top 6 will get him a lot more points. He is still learning the NHL playstyle, and will only improve

The SPS have good leadership, it is not easy to infiltrate. It takes a lot of time and training to be a police officer. You get vetted by multiple people, and there are daily performance reports

While the RCMP has to deal with every other municipality, thats a distraction. There is a reason they have not been able to curtail crime in the past. We need a new vision
