I recreated the autumn and tropical biome landscape materials based off of the Runners season trailer! I created some basic environments to further showcase them

I’m no expert in materials, and the project/tutorial that Epic has made available has been an absolute lifesaver
Intuitive material building with the UI Material Lab - Part 1 | Epic Developer Community
I really liked the UIs popping up here on X, so I decided to create my own material inspired by those HUDs
The best part is that I can make them any size I want without worrying about stretched textures

We're punishing AI thumbnails - if your game looks like generic slop, it'll rank lower 📉 We also talk about our Steam reviews 🫠 Plus FSR3 upscaling, a big physics update, review tag filtering and way more.

Waking up to a second account suspension less than 2 weeks after the first raises real concerns about Epic’s moderation clarity.
Epic recently stated that rejected content would include images highlighting the flagged issue to help creators resolve problems efficiently. In reality, that hasn’t been the case.
Right now, most island rejections come back with nothing more than rulebook references — without any clarification such as flagged files, assets, or scenes. For large-scale projects like mine with 5k+ textures and 10k+ actors, this makes it extremely difficult to identify the issue without resorting to trial and error, which can quickly lead to repeated rejections and eventual account suspensions.
Appealing island rejections or account suspensions often feels just as automated, with concerns left unaddressed and no clear communication.
I’ve been in the #UEFN scene for over 3 years, and moderation has never felt this unclear.

Turning a PSD into a functional UEFN widget should not be this painful.
So I decided to change that.
Upload the PSD, get the widget output back, paste it into UEFN, and done.
Everything aligned, positioned correctly, and separated into layers.
All of that in under a minute. And this is only part 1 of WidgetKit.

Love it or hate it, A.I is already part of how things are being made and maybe I’ll catch some heat for saying that.
Even so, I decided to build a platform for UEFN. This video shows 4 of the 17 tools it will offer
In the video:
• thumbnail generation
• thumbnail editing
• camera control
• layer decomposition
The idea is simple: control the entire thumbnail creation process from start to finish via prompt.
This is not about replacing creativity, It is about increasing speed, control, and possibilities for people who actually know how to create

I had a random text translated into 25 languages and exported to #uefn using Python; it was something I’d always wanted to try doing as a web app
There are still a few bugs, but it was a lot of fun
And Unity’s cross-platform, cross-store payments SDK is coming to Unreal Engine, with perfect timing just as mobile platforms are opening up to competing stores and competing payment methods.
