People wonder why millennials can see through online nonsense so easily, and I’ll tell you how: we didn’t grow up with the internet, but once it showed up, every school paper demanded ten reliable sources. No random sites, no ChatGPT, just libraries and actual books.
@LadyNoir007@capcom_official If he’s replaced it will be after CV:R releases. VA and Mocap is done far in advance of game release (~2 years) & that for sure is done already if RE:C comes out next year. Also, this isn’t the first & won’t be the last problematic person Capcom has employed.
@Speyerboot The whole thing is unfortunate and there will probably be discussions about Wesker/Zeno VA in the future but it’s not like Capcom hasn’t associated itself with problematic ppl in the past. It didn’t bother them then, it probably won’t bother them now.
@Speyerboot Capcom won’t recast the VA for RE:V. They do VA/mocap work years in advance of release. All of that stuff is already done (minus a few redo/additional lines). Unless you want RE:V to come out in ‘28 at the earliest, it’s most likely not happening. They may recast after tho

(2/2) on a SAVE/KIDS/KOSA Act post or the growing surveillance state/data center push feels really disheartening. Just feels like we’re not a serious species.
While I’m happy to see the resistance against PS’s dumb, stupid choices, I can’t help but feel dismayed that the same revolt/outcry isn’t being directed at other far more pressing issues. Seeing tens of thousands of engagement on a single PA vs. a couple hundred/thousand (1/2)
