@FrancesHardinge Well, now, you either have homing stones to train and start a very slow and solid postal service, or potatoes to support and find a therapeutic approach for them to overcome their fears.
I do not want any random stranger to claim this handle and my tweets. Hence my decision to spell out my actual name here (15 years after joining Twitter).
@Joseph_Fasano_ I used three of them at my university's Open Day today. Only one young woman used them (there were lots of other tasks on the wall), but she couldn’t stop until she had finished all three.
@Joseph_Fasano_ I'll let you know! (I serve as acting chair of German didactics in the teacher training programme, and my idea for our table at the open day is to offer a bunch of exercises, impulses and ideas to make visitors experience and think about various learning areas in L1 education.)
@Joseph_Fasano_ I’m trying to translate and adapt some of your prompts for a German audience, for my university's open day next week. I am keen to find out how people will react to them!
