@Andy_K333@SlothInMirror@RSynns Actually, every observation we make is conducive with a round object so large the area around us looks flat. The sun setting, ships disappearing bottom up, tides, eclipses, etc. our model explains all of it. You can’t provide a model that can explain an eclipse.
@vegastarr Explain a lunar or solar eclipse. That’s all, I can explain it with a globe model. Explain it on the flat earth model. It is something billions of people have seen.
@Andy_K333@RSynns Just like the drawing, the earth is so large that you can’t SEE it until you zoom out. But, there are calculations you could do to prove it. Youd just need a friend in a different location.
@FlerfWatch Literally. This is just me. I have asked multiple flerfs to explain the eclipses. The closest I’ve gotten to an answer was a 3D render of an eclipse in blender and an obviously fake video showing the moon in a bright sunny sky “during” an eclipse as “Proof” that it’s fake.
@Keetb999k You are being pulled down by gravity. There is only an up orientation because we are on earth and because of gravity. In space there is no up or down.
@ao3atmidnight I was reading a story that was meant to be two Americans. I knew the writer was British because in the first chapter the character said “I’m just gonna pop back to my flat”.
Later on another character said “I’m going to use the loo”. It was pretty funny.
@QCSynysterJYorn@ChewiesLover@shadydoorags There is a big difference between off screen possible deaths and straight up killing the man on screen. We have seen people survive insane things in avatar so there is plausible deniability. No deniability of him killing Ozai.
@H18Newern@fwmalacyafeez The way I see it is that Ozai saw Zuko as weak. He wasn’t as strong or as ruthless as Azula. He was compassionate and Ozai hated that. He used the “disrespect” towards his general as a way to punish Zuko for his perceived weakness.
@SolveBuild@FormerylNurgle@ASonNamedBort Yeah. I have to generalize what I said because it was a while ago and I can’t remember the name of the train station for the life of me.
@SolveBuild@FormerylNurgle@ASonNamedBort It was quite awhile ago so I can’t remember exactly what I said. It was basically “excuse me? Could you point me to *insert station name because I forgot it* please”. I know it wasn’t the best but my French teacher said it would be passable.
@SolveBuild@ASonNamedBort It was just my experience. I didn’t talk to many people in France. The ones I did talk to were a bit rude and just straight out mean. I wasn’t there for long though and I was with my friends.
@siannnyyy26@LicenseCorp@McBidens I know American are usually more aggressive with pickpockets. We don’t take kindly to them so we physically stop them so that they can be arrested or with push them away from us. We don’t play about people stealing our stuff.
