Pleased to see this work published. We need visibility and resources for 2SLGBTQIA+ health now possibly even more than when we started these projects back in 2017 or so (see our guide here: https://t.co/SmcgQM93LU).
Leaders: if we want to succeed in getting out of our comfort zone so that we can improve, we can’t let our feelings overwhelm us or keep us from performing well. Not being controlled by our feelings means that we can face our fears, get out of our comfort zone, & try new things!
You won’t do well the first time you do anything because nobody is good at the beginning of doing something new.
We start so we can improve, and we start before we’re ready because we need and want to get better. That’s growth! But we can’t evolve if we don’t start.
Being vulnerable doesn’t mean you are weak, it means you are authentic, real, and teachable. It opens the door for better communication and stronger relationships.
So here’s my challenge for you today: find ways to incorporate vulnerability and authenticity into your leadership!
Here’s what I know: Failure is a part of leadership and getting better. When you mess up or make a mistake, don’t let it keep you from getting back up. Rebound and try again!
