@HarboWholmes 50 minute runtimes was one of the best things to come from chibnall.

As we’re keeping 8 episode series, I think it should be 7x 50 minute episodes and a 60 minute finale.

Longer would be better but is likely not feasible

This era is genuinely the biggest doctor who has ever been pushed to US audiences.

My hope is that RTD puts Moffat in charge of his own spinoff/mini series. Then he can experiment with his own ideas without the pressure of running the main show.

Being the showrunner is an extremely difficult job, balancing many different responsibilities. You will never please everyone. I think Moffat is most comfortable writing stories rather than entires series…

Also with the amount of hate/abuse he got as showrunner, I HIGHLY doubt he will ever return to the roll. 7 years is a long time to run doctor who, so to come back after that would be unprecedented…
