@sfldwe@LorenaSGonzalez@shawnjvandiver@BobsonD99188991 At CADem labor caucus she was speaking against abundance. I was getting so mad. I whisper to my friend “she obviously hasn’t f***ing read the book b/c what she’s saying is not what it says” I had to walk to the back of the room. Heard she pedaled same bs all over the convention.
@tinysnekcomics So before that clip they absolutely credited you and disected and praised your work. She just then extended it... The episode never pretended they invented it.
@GavinNewsom I am really worried about our charging stations. If people live in a house with a garage they can charge a car or two, but what about those who have to use street parking? Let's normalize charging at school/work. My public HS doesn't have charging available.
@LewisLisaL @robyncaplan@StartSchoolL8r As a HS teacher in CA I am so excited! Though a lot of staff is not (nobody likes change). Unfortunately, it pushes my kids' elementary start time to 7:45 am.
@MarkPerna@Forbes This was a great article, but in the couple weeks since it was published, conditions have gotten much worse and I have so many more fellow teachers telling me they are ready to leave the profession. Would love to see follow up numbers to that survey in the near future.
@allinwithchris@chrislhayes Listened tonight, very interesting. When Wikipedia was a free for all it got bad rep for not being reliable. I know they did a lot to fix that, but some profs/teachers still tell students not a reliable source to cite. Thoughts?
On behalf of America @jack and @twitter you need to pull the chord on him now. He can't have this platform anymore. Don't be complicit in the violence he is instigating. Anyone out there want to co-sign?
@AndrewYang@ProfEmilyOster@BrownUniversity I heard you acknowledge that secondary is different risk, but in reality secondary teachers would see around 175 students per week and keeping kids in a cohort of 30 for secondary would be nearly impossible scheduling wise, especially for HS with near adults.
@AndrewYang@ProfEmilyOster@BrownUniversity I am mostly agreeing with you guys. If we cohort elementary students to 15 and the teacher is in contact with 30, or if all 30 are together, I think we are at similar exposure risks... BUT I heard you say the 7th grade teacher with 25 students...
We are open, last day to buy fireworks. Come support @ahs_activities leadership. Fireworks stand at South and Bellflower in Lakewood across from In N Out. @ Crunch Fitness https://t.co/E3igUnZ9A3
@GavinNewsom@CountyofLA@CAgovernor@SupJaniceHahn this is our best 4 day window for fundraising all year for our low-income school. Please keep fireworks stands open through the 4th so families can celebrate 4th of July within their own household groups.
Fireworks stand set up for @AHS_Activities at South and Bellflower in Lakewood. All set up for social distancing. Please come support ASB July 1-4 8am-10pm.
Can’t stress this enough --
Physical distancing is working. CA is flattening the curve.
BUT we can only continue that progress if we continue to STAY HOME and PRACTICE PHYSICAL DISTANCING.
You have the power to literally save lives. We can’t stop now.
