Using AI for performance, art or any endeavor that requires a PERSON to be impactful is inherently wrong. Trying to control or acquiesce to it as if it is an unavoidable future is spineless. AI is here. Its masters want our humanity. Do we fight or fold? Do we sell our souls?

I would like the theatre community very much to stop using ai art for playbill covers. How am I supposed to trust if what I’m seeing is any good if you splatter a bunch of computer generated junk on the front of the program???
