This is a train accident that happened in Zimbabwe last night and killed the train crew of three.
Zimbabwe’s Deputy Transport Minister acknowledged that this was avoidable after the train’s brakes failed.
But here is the sad thing from history;
👇🏿
The Rhodesian Prime Minister Ian Smith predicted this when he said that ZANUPF would be so incompetent such that they would stop using trains saying that they are dangerous due to incompetence.
At the time when he said this, it was considered racist, but ZANUPF doesn’t disappoint, it has fulfilled his chilling prediction!
Ian Smith’s predictions often raise debates, but it's unfortunate when they seem to come true.
That moment when a ZANUPF propaganda arm realises that someone in ZANUPF has shared something that is ludicrous even by ZANUPF’s crude propaganda standards 🤣🤣🤣
“THE THIEVES ON OUR BUS
A Teacher received his salary and boarded a crowded bus back to his home, and there was a thief on the bus.
The thief stole the Teacher's money from his pocket.
After the teacher reached his destination, the driver asked for his fare, the Teacher put his hand into his pocket and found nothing.
The teacher blushed, and his tongue became heavy, he was so embarrassed. The Driver who is now angry said mockingly to the Teacher: "shame on you, you consider yourself a respected person while you can not afford your transport fare!."
The Teacher was again very much embarrassed.
As this was going on, pride hit a potion of the thief's ego, and he was moved to say to the angry Driver: "My brother, the teacher's fare is on me!."
That is, the thief offered to help the teacher, who is his victim. He helped not out of pity for the poor teacher but to buy other passengers' trust and confidence and to use some of the stolen money to earn respect before the rest of the passengers on the bus.
The poor Teacher who did not understand what was happening smiled and said to the thief: *"May GOD bless you and multiply your likes, sir!."*
Then some of the passengers on the bus also praised the thief, praised his kindness, and also prayed for him and *that GOD should increase his kind.*
Since then, the number of thieves on our bus have increased and they continue to receive our thanks and appreciation;
We are all on a bus where thieves are stealing from us and using the stolen money to buy our trust and earn our respect in a way that we keep thanking them for their "kindness".
This is the metaphor of the state of our nation, Zimbabwe.
The thieves on our bus are increasing all the time because we continue praising them for returning small from the lots they stole from us.”
This story serves as a powerful metaphor for the dynamics of trust and manipulation in society, particularly in the context of corruption and governance.
It shows us how the corrupt loot, plunder and then exploit our goodwill and generosity to maintain control and perpetuate their looting under the cover of their deceit.
You must remain vigilant and critical of those in power even where they appear to offer gestures of kindness through themselves or their surrogates!
Only a fool will applaud a thief who has stolen from him and society!
A shocking number of Zimbabweans on this platform support this barbaric form of policing and applaud the police daily for gross human rights violations.
This method of policing is unacceptable and should be outlawed. It doesn’t stem from a desire for just but raw cruelty
Hon @pashor_sibanda now at Bulawayo Central Police Station accompanied by his lawyers. They target genuine and authentic leaders of the Citizen's movement.
At a time when Zimbabwean hospitals have no medicines like paracetamol and no equipment, Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube has agreed to requests by Zimbabwean Members of Parliament, requests that include buying them brand new Landcruisers.
210 elected MPs minus the proportional representation MPs is 210 Landcruisers multiplied by US$400,000.
That is US$84 million for the 210 elected MPs.
Zimbabwe’s biggest hospital only has ONE maternity theatre built in 1977.
US$88 million would build 2270 maternity theaters.
Zimbabwe doesn’t have a single working radiotherapy cancer treatment machine.
US$88 million would buy 58 radiotherapy cancer treatment machines!
On top of the 210 MPs add proportional representation MPs and senators.
Voting is truly a big scam to get a lot of people to vote for the interests of corrupt and heartless politicians!
They are evil!
Members of Parliament in Zimbabwe have successfully lobbied for a looter’s charter that includes Landcruisers when the country has NO single working Radiotherapy Cancer treatment machines.
Hospitals have no paracetamol, citizens are drinking dirty water!
Voting is clearly a waste of time in Zimbabwe, it only facilitates for a group of few to loot public funds!
THE POWER OF LOVE, NOT THE LOVE OF POWER…
Where hate destroys, love builds.
Where hate accuses, love excuses, recuses and rescues.
Where hate wounds, love heals.
Where hate divides, love unites.
Where hate turns you to self, love pivots you to others.
Where hate is intoxicates, love is sobers.
Where hate confuses, love clarifies.
Where hate convicts, love acquits.
Where hate imprisons,, love sets free!
Even if you are hated so much, just love anyway..Don’t stop loving!! #OnePeople #Godisinit
Good morning Minister @TateMavetera,
1. Has Starlink been licensed to operate in Zimbabwe?
2. If so, what are the terms and when they be made public?
3. If not, have you investigated this alleged operation by the child of two Ministers? Is it fake news?
4. If it’s true and you’re turning a blind eye, can you see how the public would be concerned about the lack of transparency, unequal application of laws and policy opaqueness on such a critical issue falling under your Ministry?
5. If it’s permissible to operate Starlink, may you please open it up to everyone, not just those who are connected to Zanu PF political elites?
