OFFICIAL: Zimbabwe's🇿🇼 President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, 83, has signed into law a legislation that extends his term in office by 2 years to 2030.
Zimbabweans will no longer vote for a president; instead, parliament will elect the head of state.
A woman from Mabopane, Keamogetse Mashapa, claims her boyfriend ended their relationship and kicked her out after he found her wearing his ZCC khaki uniform while dancing mpogo as a surprise. She says she intended it as a playful romantic gesture, but he became furious and ordered her to leave. Now homeless, she is appealing to residents of Mabopane and Soshanguve for temporary accommodation.
This is Jacob Zuma, the former President of South Africa, whose political party, MK, has been encouraging South Africans to chase not only undocumented immigrants out of the country, but even black Africans who are legally living and working in South Africa. His campaign vehicles have been driving around KwaZulu-Natal with loudspeakers urging people to drive black Africans out of the country, regardless of whether they are in South Africa legally or not.
And then, after all of that, he flew to India to meet the Gupta family, the very people accused of helping to orchestrate the industrial-scale corruption that nearly bankrupted South Africa through state capture. When they faced accountability, they ran away from South Africa, first for Dubai and then for India.
Think about the contradiction. A man whose campaign encourages hostility towards fellow Africans is, at the same time, embracing foreign friends who became synonymous with one of the biggest corruption scandals in South African history.
By his own admission in this video, he has made it clear that he is unhappy with the direction the country took in pursuing those implicated in state capture.
Meanwhile, ordinary black South Africans are being mobilised against fellow black Africans who are living in South Africa legally, while the political battle being fought is, in reality, about power, accountability and the legacy of state capture.
They are being drawn into a campaign that serves political interests rather than addressing the country’s real challenges.
History should record this moment. It should record the irony of fellow Africans being turned against one another while those accused of presiding over one of the darkest chapters of corruption in South Africa seek a return to political power. That is a tragedy that future generations should never forget.
Imagine dehumanising fellow black Africans who look like you, speak languages like yours, and share the same continent, all so that Jacob Zuma’s Indian friends can return and loot South Africa again.
@Diamond_Blackie@iDiskiTimes Agggg maan come on, so you wanna tell me that you've never done mistake in your life or you've never wronged anybody since you were born?
#JMPD officers together with @SAPoliceService & security members received info regarding a group of males allegedly involved in vehicle-related crimes across Gauteng. Acting on the information, the operational team spotted a vehicle matching the description provided by the informant travelling at the corner of Main Road & Bryanston Drive in Bryanston.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle using blue lights & a siren. The driver failed to comply & sped off. A high-speed pursuit ensued ending when the suspect vehicle drove into the Winnie Mandela Shopping Centre damaging the boom gates.
The operational team successfully brought the vehicle to a stop. 2x suspects exited the vehicle & fled into the shopping centre on foot & the driver was apprehended.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 2x signal-jamming devices, vehicle-breaking implements, 2x sets of motor vehicle registration plates, several pairs of gloves & a motor vehicle licence disc belonging to a Toyota Prado. The licence disc tested positive in connection with a case registered at Sandton SAPS.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle's VIN number was circulated & tested positive in connection with a case registered at Norwood SAPS. The suspect was arrested & detained at Randburg SAPS on charges relating to possession of suspected stolen property, possession of vehicle crime implements & possession of a vehicle linked to a criminal case (grey Haval H6). The vehicle was seized & booked in at the Aeroton SAPS Pound.

Two Zimbabweans truck drivers were caught in Zambia trying to bring 9 Ethiopians through Zambia to South Africa.
Once they arrive here, their rights will be prioritized and be defended more than those of South Africans.
I mean how does this end if we won't stop it as South Africans?
A disturbing video took what sounded like a white man confronting 4 SAPS members who took a bribe of R2 ,000 from one of his friends. Mr Bean should deal with them ASAP.
Steel products are about to get more expensive!
Government has introduced new import duties of 10–30% on finished steel products, including screws, fencing, pipes, tools, and more.
The result? Higher costs for businesses, higher prices for consumers, and added pressure on South African manufacturers.
