On Saturday, @CAStateParks and the Rivers and Mountains Conservancy were among the state departments celebrating the grand opening of Urban Orchard Park, a 3-acre community park near the LA River. The property now features 200 avocado and citrus trees, a playground, picnic areas and a restored wetland that improves water quality and fish habitat.

Thanks to more than $12 million in State support and a powerful coalition of local, state, and federal partners, this vibrant space brings the #OutdoorsForAll vision to life — making sure that everyone, no matter their zip code or income, can experience the power of nature.
