What’s the most important choke point for American interests overseas and why is it the Luzon Strait?

This is a map of the world’s choke points. It’s THE most important map Navy admirals have for global security.

If it was up to me this would be posted in every hallway in the Pentagon.

Problem: all these maps rank choke points of international importance… usually ranked by volume of trade. That’s not the same thing as America’s vital interests.

We saw it in real time when the world’s most important choke point the Suez Canal was closed by Houthi terrorists. The inflation and disruption hit Europe far harder than the United States.

I can’t find a map that ranks the most important choke points for our nation.

If we made one, I’d list the top five like this:
1.Florida Strait
2.Panama Canal
3.Bering Strait
4.GIUK Gap (Greenland–Iceland–UK)
5.Strait of Magellan

And to prove how little previous Administrations care about this

The Florida Strait (the primary route for all ship and barge traffic from the Mississippi River) is directly adjacent to a hostile Communist nation.

We turned over our military headquarters on the Panama canal to marxists NGOs… and China’s building a bridge which can blockade it.

They did practically nothing to fortify the Bering Strait.

The Greenland-UK gap they let Denmark exploit with zero investment in naval security.

And they were happy to see Argentina circle the drain before Javier Milei.

But the most stunning failure of the last 100 years was the complete abandonment of our most important overseas Choke Point on the map.

Nobody even knows the bloodiest battle in American history, more 🇺🇸 casualties than any Civil War battle, the Battle of Manilla (Filipinos were naturalized Americans at the time, if not citizens), was fought to secure it.

The entire Pacific War pivoted around this strait, that’s how important it is.

Yet I would be surprised if one in 100,000 Americans could even point out the Luzon Strait on a map.

The good news? This Administration understands Choke Points and we have a new Federal Maritime Commissioner - @thelauradibella - who will be prioritizing their importance.

Now we just need our Admirals to do a better job educating the rest of government and the public on this.

The Deep State Has Beaten Physicians With Any Stones Into Total Submission. So Very Sad.

It’s a grim picture, and there’s real substance behind my frustration—not just vibes.

What “beaten into submission” actually looks like

The pattern isn’t mysterious. It’s a series of concrete mechanisms:

- Licensing as a leash. State medical boards hold the power to yank a physician’s livelihood over “unprofessional conduct,” which in practice has meant deviating from consensus positions.

A doctor who prescribed ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine early in COVID faced board complaints, hospital privilege reviews, and career-ending investigations—not because the science was settled, but because they stepped off the script.

- The peer-review gate. Journals, funding bodies, and conference organizers decide what gets published and what gets memory-holed. Research that threatens prevailing narratives—vaccine safety, psychiatric over-medication, chronic low-dose chemical exposure—struggles for oxygen. Independent researchers get frozen out, then dismissed as “fringe.”

- The revolving door. Regulators, pharma executives, and institutional leadership swap seats constantly. The same people who write the rules later collect checks from the companies the rules govern. Doctors who want to keep their hospital jobs learn quickly which questions not to ask.

- Whistleblower treatment. Look at what happens to the ones who speak: loss of position, legal harassment, blacklisting from employment, character assassination in the press. The lesson broadcast to every other physician is unambiguous—*this could be you*.

The human cost

The saddest part is that most doctors went into medicine to help people. They’re not villains; many are genuinely competent and caring within the narrow lane they’re allowed to operate in. But the system selects for compliance over curiosity, and it’s trained an entire profession to defer to authority rather than exercise the independent judgment medicine is supposed to be built on.

The ones with stones—the ones who kept prescribing what worked, who kept asking why autism and ADHD rates keep climbing, who refused to stop treating patients during the madness—were systematically made an example of.

Where it leaves us

When the people with the most direct clinical experience are afraid to say what they see, patients lose. Independent researchers, dissenting physicians, and alternative media doing the actual digging become the only remaining check on institutional power.

It’s a real tragedy—not because the profession is inherently corrupt, but because so much of it has been conditioned into silence while the outliers get crushed. The fact that many of us are witnessing it firsthand means the submission isn’t total. Yet!

Acts 24:16:

"So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.”

This is a topic that I’ve always considered an integral part of developing a Christian worldview.  What is “conscience"?  Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary defines conscience as “… the moral goodness or blameworthiness of one's own conduct, intentions, or character together with a feeling of obligation to do right or be good” and "conformity to what one considers to be correct, right, or morally good.”

In my Christian journey, one of my stated goals is to develop a clear, well-formed conscience.  During the last couple of decades, it is more and more evident to me that keeping your mind renewed in the scriptures trains your conscience to recognize good and evil.  I view my conscience as a guiding light to my ethics. Ethics is what you do when no one is looking and no one will know what you did (that’s my definition).

As Christians our goal is to pursue a life of holiness as we are instructed to do and our conscience is the alarm system God installed in our nature to get us on the straight and narrow. We will explore the scriptures that instruct us on the importance of a clear conscience. Tomorrow, we will examine the consequences of ignoring "the proddings of our conscience.”

Hebrews 10:22 says, "let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”  A guilty conscience is designed to help us recognize our sin, seek forgiveness of our sin, and declare or commit to never repeating the same error. Our guilty conscience stands as a guard constantly reminding us of our error until we seek repentance.  For me, when I am in a tough situation, my conscience reminds me of what it been trained to do.  Even if doing the hard right thing is not necessarily appealing at the moment; my well-formed conscience rejects taking the easy way to avoid the suffering and discomfort.  Your well-formed conscience contains the same conviction of the inerrancy of God’s Word as your renewed mind and your heart (from which flows the issues of life, i.e. Proverbs 4:23.)

We are repeatedly instructed to strive and maintain a clear conscience. Here are some foundational scriptures to cultivate a clear conscience. Please read these scriptures several times because the theology of the human conscience emerges from the page.

1. I Peter 3:16 - “. . . keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.”

2. I Tim 1:18-19 - "Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.”

3. Acts 23:1 - "Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, 'My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.'"

4. Hebrews 13:18 - "Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.”

5. II Corinthians 1:12 - "Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace.”

6. Romans 9:1 - “I speak the truth in Christ - I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit…”

7. I Timothy 1:5 - "The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

8. I Corinthians 4:3-4 - “I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.  My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent.  It is the Lord Who judges me.”

9. I Timothy 3:9 - "They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.”

A good conscience is a protective armor for us.  In a world where evil is hailed as good and good is marked as evil, a well-formed conscience doesn’t care about political correctness or so-called “tolerance." If your conscience is trained in the admonition of the Lord, it will prod you with truth.  The Holy Spirit can speak to your conscience with scripture to strengthen it and energize your resolve.  The clear conscience works in concert with your heart.  Notice the warning in I Corinthians 4:3-4, which says: "My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent.” After examining these verses, I discovered we are to rely on our conscience but our hearts filled with God's Word must be the final word. We must prune the garden of our conscience frequently with God’s Word and actively listen for the Holy Spirit to instruct our conscience.  A well-formed conscience is a powerful weapon against the enemy because it strengthens us to make the hard right choice.

Tomorrow, we will continue to examine why we have a conscience, some of the transitional issues of the early Church, and warnings against a bad conscience.

The Fatwa Fallacy

For everyone sending me questions, my assessment is that the Iranian regime's so called nuclear fatwa WAS, and STILL IS, a terrorist deception campaign. Here’s why.

In 2005, Ayatollah Khamenei publicly invoked the fatwa. That same month, Iran resumed uranium conversion at Isfahan.

In 2006, Iran broke IAEA seals and resumed uranium enrichment at Natanz, triggering its referral to the U.N. Security Council.

In 2009, the covert Fordow enrichment facility was discovered, YES, before Iran publicly acknowledged its existence.

In 2011, the IAEA published its landmark report detailing evidence of activities consistent with research relevant to nuclear weapons development.

From 2019 through 2021, Iran exceeded JCPOA limits by increasing enrichment levels, deploying advanced IR 2M, IR 4, and IR 6 centrifuges, and dramatically expanding its stockpile of enriched uranium.

In April 2021, Iran began enriching uranium to 60 percent purity, far beyond what is typically required for civilian nuclear power and technically much closer to weapons grade material.

From 2022 through 2023, Iran expanded 60 percent enrichment at Fordow, installed additional advanced centrifuges, and IAEA inspectors detected uranium particles enriched to 83.7 percent, just below the roughly 90 percent generally associated with weapons grade uranium.

Throughout all of this, the regime continued pointing to the fatwa as evidence of peaceful intentions, counting on lobbyists, apologists, and loyalists in the West to help sell the fake narrative.
Judge the regime by its actions, not by its terrorist propaganda.

The fatwa never stopped or slowed Iran's nuclear program. It helped sell the illusion that the regime's intentions could be trusted while the program advanced year after year.

The fatwa was never meant to restrain Iran's nuclear ambitions. It was meant to deceive the West, and unfortunately, it is still fooling some people today.
