Chris Caporale

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

And Carson Wentz, too. Amazing.

[Jack Borman @JackBorman]

I am still in disbelief the Vikings thought Kyler Murray was *that* much better than JJ McCarthy

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

The following active starting @nfl quarterbacks have won at least 5 consecutive regular-season starts spanning across last season and this season:

Patrick Mahomes @chiefs
Kyler Murray @vikings
JJ McCarthy @giants

That’s it. That’s the list. #LFGG

[Giants Daily @NYGDaily]

"How can you start J.J. McCarthy against the daunting Texans defense?"

Blah. Blah. Blah. Shut up.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Always loved @ElGarySanchez. Another player mishandled by the @yankees. Hope the @brewers close it out so he can get a ring.

[SleeperYankees @SleeperYankees]

Gary Sánchez in 2017:

.278 AVG
33 HR
90 RBI
.876 OPS
122 games

TRUE OR FALSE: Yankees fans remember how his time ended more than how good he was at his best.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

LFG @KyleBrandt

[Kyle Brandt @KyleBrandt]

Will be a very interesting Tuesday morning on @gmfb

😡ANGRY RUNS😡

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

I know the @Vikings are 6-0 but what did JJ do to KOC to get so buried in the doghouse and on the depth chart? I don’t know what this season will turn into for JJ, but for him to be inactive as the 3rd QB every game prior to the trade to the @giants seems kinda crazy.

[John Harper @NYNJHarper]

Who knows where it leads but McCarthy made some big-time throws today. Brees was gushing about the one to Nabers late in 1st half. Pretty good in exchange for a 5th round pick.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

So disappointed that the @giants bye is next week. Only good thing is it’s one Sunday I don’t have to watch Kayvon Thibodeaux. And the RBs and some of the wounded get a chance to get healthy, too.

[Shaun Morash @ShaunMorash]

That’s win of the year

In fact the best win in a long long time for this football team

Division title hopes alive and REAL

JJ McCarthy changes so much for this team

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

The @nfl is such a joke. The virtual measurement is a joke. The short yardage spots are a joke. The missed facemasks are a joke, too.

[Giants Daily @NYGDaily]

Does the NFL have no shame with this virtual management bullshit?

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Or maybe the obvious facemask in the 3rd quarter. The officiating in the @NFL is so horrible. Consistently horrible.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Which one? The @giants were victims of a few that half.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Which one? The @giants were victims of a few that half.

[Giants Daily @NYGDaily]

Such a bullshit penalty.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

The Grisham move was definitely a head-scratcher. As it relates to McMahon, wasn’t the whole fan base clamoring for Cashman to get him, considering 3B was already in dire straits? Mac’s been terrible, don’t get me wrong. But I feel like the fan base wants their cake and…

[Jimmy Randazzo @JimmyRandazzo]

@JoezMcfLy The McMahon move at the deadline in 2025 followed by the Grisham move to start 2026 was extremely baffling. They need to do a much better job allocating the money,

I personally believe it starts at 3B with Sato.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

I’ve never liked the Harbaughs. Despite that, I was thrilled when the @Ravens let John walk out the door & the @Giants hired him. The ego & arrogance is off the charts. I guess fans have to take the good with the bad. He’ll turn the franchise around but this week is frustrating.

[Marcus Whitman @TFG_Football]

Serious question: Where are Giants fans at with John Harbaughs decision to put Skattebo in the dog house for a winnable game where the Giants RBs ran for 34 yards on 14 attempts, including a guy they cut the next day?

Good move?

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

I think your sarcasm might be worse than your reporting. Hard to fathom, but maybe.

[Ralph Vacchiano @RalphVacchiano]

@capper23 Have someone explain it to you. And hey, thanks for following. Or trying.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Nope. It’s not. You’re a difficult follow, but that’s not the app’s fault. Looks like you swung for the fences but missed badly. Is that hard for you to follow?

[Ralph Vacchiano @RalphVacchiano]

@capper23 Is Twitter really that hard to follow? Do you need someone to explain to you how it works? My goodness.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Classic Ralph. Missed the boat again. But at least you were first!!

[Ralph Vacchiano @RalphVacchiano]

The J.J. McCarthy Era is off to a terrible start in New York.

He took over for Jameis Winston with the Saints winning in a rout, he completes just 1 of his first 4 passes ... and his first drive ends in an interception.

Yikes.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

@DDuggan21 Hope you’re wrong (again) @DDuggan21!

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Clearly the low point of his tenure with the @giants. Things like this don’t happen by accident with John Harbaugh. Sadly, he was more focused on making a point about @camskattebo5 than he was about coaching his team to victory.

[Underdog NFL @UnderdogNFL]

John Harbaugh said the Giants “didn’t bench Cam Skattebo” and it “wasn’t by design” that he had zero carries today, via @JoriEpstein:

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Interesting how? Have to start JJ. It’s a no doubter.

[Giants Daily @NYGDaily]

You can not underplay the throws J.J. McCarthy made in that fourth quarter.

This is going to be an interesting week for John Harbaugh.

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

OVER!!!

[Eli Racks @IamEliRacks]

Finish the sentence: The Jameis Winston experience is...

#BigBlue

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

Harbaugh is willing to lose this game to make his point. Probably gonna quote Jack Harbaugh post-game as it relates to his decision to bury @camskattebo5 today; along with the long-term benefits. Too bad. This game shoulda been a W for the @Giants.

[Jim Maisano @JimMaisano]

That was like the Giants from prior years - self destructing in final mins of 1st Half - we should be sitting pretty with nice lead at Half - I was starting to make my lunch with a smile - and now tie game & Saints get kickoff in 2nd Half.
Really dumb football! Stinks!

[Chris Caporale @capper23]

If he lets him out, @giants have a chance. Otherwise this one will go down as one of Harbs’ biggest failures so far as @Giants coach.

[Ralph Vacchiano @RalphVacchiano]

With four fumbles in the first five games, Cam Skattebo is really deep in the John Harbaugh doghouse:

First half Giants RB usage:

Devin Singletary: 3 carries, 5 yards
Tyrone Tracy: 2 carries, 4 yards; 1 17-yard TD catch
Najee Harris: 3 carries 0 yards
Cam Skattebo: Nada.
