I have a question that I'd like to ask a real atheist (by "real atheist," I mean one who is well studied in the Bible and understands its context).

Why do so many atheists seem to get so angry when Christians challenge their view? Particularly when one raises logical, scientifically valid points?

I'll try to answer the question that will likely come as a result of my question. Christians do this because many (at least in my experience) are not as scripturally educated as they think, and take it personally when their belief is challenged. Is this the same with many atheists?

Just hoping to understand your point of view. Thank you to all who answer honestly.

By definition, murder is an unjust killing. While I cannot pretend to know why babies (or anyone) dies unnaturally, I believe God is just. I cannot prove that to anyone beyond all doubt, like nobody can prove that He is not just beyond all doubt.

I would argue that basic, universal human morality (like murder is wrong) as an objective truth would have to come from something that transcends humanity. The only thing I know of that fits that definition is God.
