@pyramidserum Really, my weird little arts and crafts project? And when there's such stiff competition on this calendar, too... Thank you, I'm really glad you like it. I was quite worried it'd end up sort of off-putting to look at, let alone for a whole month.
@Alex_Vandewalle Unfortunately the academic community is skeptical of Mr. Black's credentials based on footage where he attempts to define, then blatantly fails to identify an octagon. Luckily, colleague Mr. Elmo is able to set the record straight on this egregious error. https://t.co/eTLutvMXLk
@ChulieChu I started with shitty Scott Pilgrim game edits. In fact, I made my very first ones in Warioware D.I.Y. and then manually copied them over into Paint pixel by pixel. I've definitely come to appreciate backgrounds a lot more since then...
So I made another stage mod for Super Smash Bros. Crusade. It's the NASB stage everyone dreamed of, but didn't dare expect to see in reality.
Happy April Fools to all who practice from THE HOFF.
Here's a full version of the background from this mock-up, since you can't see all of it in the video. This is Theatre Square, based on how it appears in Yakuza Kiwami.

That's right, it's 2022 and I'm attempting Inktober again. I'm just using the official prompt list because I'd rather not overthink it and psyche myself out.

Since that's kind of a hobby of mine now, I made the stage into a mod for Smash Crusade, as well. So for those who'd really like to see an animated and playable version: https://t.co/I45PcNWIhH
Here's Amethyst, who shows up to chill during the fight sometimes:
@NezumiVA I'd also be game to take a crack at it, if you'd have me! Don't have too many recent non-pixel art examples, but I can be quite versatile.
...Plus, I got a taste of contributing art for your videos on the last one. I can never go back now...!
Since I've been learning some new tricks from tinkering with Smash Crusade for fun, I also went back to properly animate and overall massively improve the PSI-King's Sensorium stage from Psychonauts 2 I made last year.
