[Opinion, Not Canon] Honestly, Shuri, Sling, and Vine's story as they move to Crossroads reminds me of a lot of immigrant narratives. Some people feel more complicated about it than others. I think it's a perspective worth considering when reading their motivations.

@oyasumiproducer i have been thinking this the whole time!! it's very.. it's very much the sacrifices immigrant families make and shuri's longing for home even if it's not safe really hits home esp for those with similarly limiting motherlands

like functionally, grappling hook's gear is ranged, it's deploying a projectile but the PURPOSE of a hook is mobility. doing a support role in a ranged way. plus those prongs look like they'd hurt. so hear out my two spirit grappling hook vision let's get indigenous with it
