Special boy Ollie found Irlam a bit busy for his liking. He was doing well in the Visitor Centre but wanted to hide when he came out.

Em took him for a walk with Stark and he did so well, so we knew he was moving forwards. And Em had a plan. She popped him in the car and brought him up to Rescue World.

Phase 2 isn’t quite ready yet so he’s staying in the caravan with one of the team. And Buddy has already been over trying to make friends.

We can’t wait to watch Ollie come out of his shell in the quiet hills of Lancashire 💜

Bronson is on home trial 🏡🐶 His dad wanted to introduce him to Rocco, a very mellow visiting bullie he sometimes looks after.

For safety we did the initial meet at the rescue which is neutral space, with our dog handlers testing the dogs together, first on long lines and then later off lead. Then we invited Gareth in, Bronson’s face was a picture and his tail didn’t stop wagging. He really loves his dad!

Bronson has been great with dogs at the rescue and owned dog Rocco is such a laid back, chilled dude. It was so important their first meet went well, and we thank Gareth for giving their friendship the best chance of success.

Keep putting your best paw forward Bronson 🐾 We’ve got everything crossed your trial works out for you 🤞🤞🤞 Please wish him good luck 💜

This is Fidèle. He's the most photographed dog in the world. He napped on that windowsill over the Groenerei canal in Bruges for over a decade. Tour boats paused so visitors could take photos of Fidèle. He passed away in 2016, but not before making millions of people smile. 14/10

Not a day goes by when we are not met with a heartbreaking case 💔. A kind lady has asked us for help. A housing association has been separating moms and their pups and dumping the pups in a remote area, where they have no access to food. We are full to the brim at the shelter but these pups need rescue or they will perish 😢
