@risabovitall@kellylgiven Well, I am a solicitor and I think it's clear that you're not, so on what basis do you reject what I say about legal advice?
I'm also agreeing with you that NS didn't co-operate fully, so why you're attacking me on that I have no idea.
@PendulumPenny@nyaraVT No one cares how you "present". It's pretending that you're actually a woman that is the problem.
Men are not women, and no sort of Presentation", or surgery, or anything else, can ever change that fact.
@risabovitall@kellylgiven Two things can be true at once, you know. It's true that Findlay's remarks about no comment interviews was wrong. It's also true that NS did not co-operate fully with the police.
@risabovitall@kellylgiven Findlay's comment was still wrong. Going into any police interview as a potential accused, standard legal advice is to give no comment. Shoplifting, littering or murder, it's the same. Guilty or innocent, it's the same.
@Pseud0Anon I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Roads are for horses, cars, bicycles, tractors, motorbikes, lorries and (where there's no pavement) pedestrians. You must understand and accept that and drive accordingly. If you can't, you shouldn't be driving at all.
@ionafyfe I don't believe you could keep a straight face typing this. It's just ridiculous to suggest she didn't know. She can't possibly have failed to notice the money disappearing from the SNP account and failed to notice expensive stuff appearing in her house. If so, she's negligent.
@anon_opin For me, usually on the way back from the high street empty handed because they have in stock only 4 size XXXL and a XS. You can't buy what they don't have.
@whitesundesert So let's change the rules so that whoever would come off better from a collision has right of way. HGVs and buses need never give way in any situation ever again, except to each other. It's just common sense.
@snpwatch@pmci1978 No. Both are wrong. The cyclist didn't watch out as he should. The driver cut across as he shouldn't.
You seem to advocate for a "might is right" rule, so that whoever would come out better from a collision has right of way. Is that fair?
@pmci1978@snpwatch On what basis do you say that 74 trumps H3?
The idea behind the rules is that drivers control lethal machines and therefore need to be much more careful. The reverse logic, that cars being lethal means cyclists should give way, is perverse and encourages bad driving.
@pmci1978@snpwatch That rule says that cyclists should "watch out". Rule H3 says cars should "give way". Basically, both are wrong but the driver is more wrong.
@anon_opin Yes, but I'm not one of those kinds of people. I'm articulate, reasonable and very polite. It's not alright to assume that everyone is an arsehole and treat them as such.
