@DiscourseNoodle I changed my passwords and deleted the offending tweets; no idea how or why those were posted on my account. Huge apologies that it tagged you.
every time i see one of those memes that's like "what's your character typeβ’οΈ, you know, the one you ALWAYS go for" i'm like. i don't think i have that? i like a diverse range of character types.
like you could look at harry and say i like big sensitive guys but then you have to consider arthur and alex and elliott all being radically different archetypes from that
@gluttonace@fanexus the thing is that i distinctly remember their TOS being like "everything's fine!" and then they turned around without warning going "EXCEPT THAT"
broke π: Pillowfort banning a user for something that wasn't even part of their TOS, then taking about a month to update the TOS to reflect this 'unwritten' rule
woke π: @fanexus taking the time to write a complete TOS before launch so that users know exactly what to expect
@gluttonace@fanexus lolicon art. their TOS didn't mention lolishota anywhere, so it was assumed that it was fine. they insta-banned the person in question without warning them or contacting them re: the ban. they only found out because they couldn't log in, and had to email support.
i saw a guide once that was like "don't worry about s.links on ng+, with max stats you'll have plenty of time" and i would like to file a large complaint courtesy of my persona 4 replay anxiety
@unreal_notreal hence my secondary point; if content is tagged appropriately for the people who are interested in to find (and disinterested parties to avoid), then why would you need to go announce it to people who have no context for it? makes no sense.
fan cops be like "tell ANYONE about your nasty interests and they'll confirm my moral superiority complex" and then you tell somebody about how people on the internet are harassing artists over this shit and that person will go "wow sounds shitty of them"
thinking about it, that's another problem with fantis. they think they have a right to every detail of your life, so they think EVERY person has a right to every detail of your life. you are allowed to have private interests? that's okay. somebody tell these people that's healthy
also i don't go around to people shouting "I LIKE HOCKEY DO YOU LIKE HOCKEY" why would i do that about my art. if they want my art it's tagged for them to find.
my dream is to someday have a fandom for my OCs, so that whenever somebody tries to tell somebody else "you can't ship that" I can draw the ship in question and slap it down and go "too bad, it's canon now".
