Discord is splitting accounts into Adult and Teen this week.

It says the guess comes from how old the account is and which servers you join, not your messages. Most people won’t be asked for an ID or a selfie.

If you land in Teen or Unconfirmed, stranger DMs go to requests, sensitive images get blurred, and locked servers stay locked. Wrong bucket? User Settings > Account Status.

They delayed this earlier in the year after users pushed back. Now it’s rolling out anyway.

Most people won’t notice. The ones Discord guesses wrong will.
