And I hope yall are as well. Today my niece Annalise is 2 years old(just got back from her party) and this past weds my younger bro and his wife welcomed their 4th baby, lil charlotte ann.
Most of my life rn is lived for the purpose of adoring them as they grow up lol

years ago my uncle got my aunt a pom puppy. They also had a new baby at the time, & when she felt she couldn't keep up with both, my brothers & I received a fuzzy christmas gift. That was Poppet.

Today after 19 years we said goodbye.

GUESS WHO'S BACK, BACK AGAIN

long story short i had a whole LOT go outta whack with my mental health after my surgery, but it was very slow to present in a way we could notice. We are working on that though, now that we've caught up to why my brain's been busted (1/3)

I'll spare the long story, but I'll note that of course this was only one of the larger factors in my great long absence from The World.

I don't plan to ever be as active as I was before this long silent stretch. But as I re-routine myself I'd like to check in more (2/3)

POPPING IN JUST R QUICK: Surgery went rly well! We were at the hospital p much all day in the end so we are all exhausted but we're home now. I have to rest a lot ofc but we have good, thorough discharge instructions and meds etc! im v tired still tho so zzzzz

SURGERY TOMORROW(VERY EARLY, WE CHECK IN W PREOP AT LIKE A QUARTER TO SIX AM)

Got all my labs etc done so rly all thats left for me in prep is making sure to shower properly(both tonight and when i wake up; w special bodywash) and have comfy clothes & my tablet etc

luckily its a short drive- longer than when we still lived on the south side of town but still, only about ten minutes. mom n dad will take me, and i should be able to head home same day, but in case theres a wait etc we'll have some of my stuff packed up so im not bored lol

we got a record setting 14 inches, but there was a lot of gusty wind esp in our neighborhood so it was actually piled past my waist in places(im 5' 5" for reference :'| )

literally I had to shovel us OUT OF THE HOUSE at one point. it was wild

also we had a blizzard here a couple weeks ago. theres still plentyof snow on the ground but the roads are clear now at least lol
