@FirstSquawk What happened to the US? Once the world’s badass, fighting for freedom and the underdog. Now it’s pro highest bidder. A staggering fall from grace. Morals and decency gone, money & greed rules. FFS they weren't perfect but they weren't bad.
Finally able to pick up a @v1punks that I’ve had my eye on for some time.
As a collector of historical artefacts, the story behind v1 Punks underpins the story of @cryptopunks and therefore I personally perceive more value in v1 Punks than v2 Punks.
Don’t get me wrong, v2 Punks have the Lindy effect and are the mainstream collection - no argument there. I also have huge respect for v2 Punk holders; but because v1 Punks were issued under the original bugged smart contract, their story carries that extra degree of charm and desirability which I personally prefer over v2 Punks.
And because v2 Punks will always have that mainstream desirability, it should mean that v1 Punks will share in that historical significance and ongoing cultural relevance.
My sincere thanks to the seller for letting this gem come into my vault. ✨🤩🙏
@mikethree@UngnomeOrgin Us murder rate using a gun is 1300% higher than the murder rate in the UK with a knife. Apples and oranges in terms of comparison. Gun deaths 5.6 US Vs 0.4 UK (per 100k people)
