Forza Horizon 5 was my first game by Playground Games. If the dialogue in that game is an indication of how good Fable’s dialogue will be then my hopes aren’t very high because the dialogue was absolutely insufferable

Over 1,000 NPCs each reacting uniquely based on your actions and history with them

Now here is the uncomfortable news:

>Multiple delays have pushed the launch to February 2027 and Microsoft would not be willing to invest at this scale again

>Fable only survived cancellation because of how far along it was and the weight of the franchise name

It is also coming to PS5 due to prior contractual commitments, making it no longer an Xbox exclusive

This could be the last major Fable game if it does not perform

The most ambitious entry in the franchise history might also be its final chapter
