People often compare Nehru and Modi without comparing the India they inherited.
Nehru took charge in 1947 after Partition.
A nation divided.
Millions displaced.
Life expectancy below 35 years.
Literacy under 20%.
No meaningful industrial base.
Food shortages.
Foreign exchange scarcity.
Over 560 princely states needing integration.
Virtually no indigenous scientific or technological ecosystem.
Modi took charge in 2014 as the leader of a $2 trillion economy.
A unified nation.
A functioning democracy.
Nuclear capability.
An established space programme.
A large services sector.
A mature banking system.
World-class educational institutions.
A substantial middle class.
A globally recognised private sector.
Criticise Nehru where criticism is due.
Credit Modi where credit is due.
But history should compare performance against starting conditions, not against each other in isolation.
Building a nation from scratch and accelerating an existing nation are both difficult tasks — just different ones.
The question isn’t who inherited more.
The question is: who did more with what they inherited?
@sabeer What was your biggest takeaway from seeing founders pitch under both time pressure and physical discomfort inside the ice tank?
Did the environment reveal something different about entrepreneurial resilience, clarity, or decision-making compared to a normal pitch setting?
Everyone says trust your gut.
Nobody talks about how the gut lies.
Your gut is just pattern recognition built from your past.
Which means it’s perfectly calibrated for a world that no longer exists.
The best decisions aren’t made from the gut.
They’re made from the signal underneath the gut feeling.
Most people never go that deep.

Quantum physics says a particle exists in all possible states simultaneously.
Until it is observed.
The moment you look — it collapses into one reality.
Human beings are the same.
Lost in the past. Anxious about the future.
Existing everywhere except here.
The present moment is the only place where anything actually happens.
Observe it. Live in it.
Everything else is superposition.

6 months. Still locked out.
Activation Lock removal requested → all documents submitted → multiple follow-ups sent.
No response. No resolution.
@AppleSupport@Apple@AppleNewsroom@AppleRetail@bbb_us — why is this still unresolved after half a year?
April 3rd. Costa Brava, Spain.
15-year-olds from across India walked onto a pitch and beat Liverpool 6-0.
Hat-trick from Wahengbam Raj Singh. Brace from Md. Azam Khan. Lisham Amarson Singh with the sixth. 3-0 up at half time. Liverpool never settled.
17 goals. 5 games. 1 conceded.
—Kashmir to Tamil Nadu. Manipur to Gujarat. A squad that represents the diversity of India — competing in a tournament that Messi, Neymar and Casemiro once played in as kids.
No AIFF support. Crowd-funded. They came anyway.
The internet called it India’s Blue Lock moment.
I’d call it something simpler.
A signal.
Brilliant, @minervapunjabfc. And @THE_RanjitBajaj — this one’s yours too.
