@BillPilgrim18 Would China not bail them out again by either buying more Iranian oil and/or allowing refiners to further creep their import demands to pre-war levels?
US commercial crude just drew 7.167M barrels.
Biggest drop in 6 weeks.
Expectations were a +1M build.
Inventories now at their lowest level since 2018.
Add the SPR draw and the total US crude drop this week is roughly 11 million barrels.
The market is about to get a big reality check.
What I’ve learned since 2008:
If you do everything the right way. Save money, work hard, and pay your taxes you lose in the end.
If you grift, scam, and lie your way through life or by some chance you’re unbelievably wealthy you win.
There is no in between.
Alan Ritchson: “Look at the politics we deal with. The White House is in ruins. A fucking UFC cage on the lawn and they just fucking do it and nobody says anything and no consequences. This fucking guy is just raping the world that he lives in for whatever gain he personally can have”
Obama basically sealed the deal that Dems would get slaughtered in the 2010 midterms with 2 moves.
1. The ACA.
2. The auto industry bailout.
Conservatives campaigned successfully to characterize both as socialism.
As per the auto industry bailout, they were right. It was just a foul moral hazard all along, but Obama & Co. understood that the post GFC US economy could not bear that industrial drawdown.
Then Michigan voters showed their gratitude by helping elect Trump twice & here you have the CEO of GM, a company that survived off that moral hazard & never paid a single dollar of bailout loans back to @USTreasury, stumping at a partisan political rally for Trump?
Sweet Jesus, what a fuck all.
Unforgivable.
