These captions by artificial intelligence software are unacceptable! We are watching @tribunemedia! Everyone watching should have #equalaccess as to what is actually said. #FCC guidelines should apply to all! @KDVR@fox31denver@Broncos

@arielwaldman @ablerism @blprnt Short version: non-human-generated captions are terrible for conferences (especially ones with nuanced and complex terminology). As a Deaf attendee, I consider autocaptions the same as no captions - or even worse than none, because it gives the illusion of accessibility.
Many of you have asked for more #DeafOutLoud. Our special started a dialogue within/outside the Deaf/HH community. And while @AETV will not be ordering any more episodes, we are thankful for the opportunity. Now let's continue to hashtag and let’s find a new home for #DeafOutLoud
Deaf and HOH people rely on QUALITY captions to "hear." Say NO to @WeAreSinclair replacing highly-trained human captioners with a VRS software, IBM Watson, that produces unacceptable caption quality. #hearforyou#FCC#Deaf#NCRA#HurricaneFlorence
"if captions present that content in ways that make no sense, the captions are useless. This is why human captioners—those who provide the “art” behind captioning technology—remain the linchpin to successful captioning."

@WeAreSinclair seriously? You think the new captions are able to be interpreted by those who are deaf/hard of hearing? You’ve gone backward essentially to no captions!! Stop the abuse & discrimination for those disabled w/hearing loss! Shame on you! @IBMWatson
