@Lea_EFC@MCFCworld As someone who hates Saka the club player most of the year it blows my mind that he isn’t starting. The minute he came on he breathed their first good chance too.
@SupaisuSama@GothamChess I’m only answering Levy’s question that it actually was reviewed and VAR found it not to be a penalty. I’m not making a judgment on the play
@bluerhino123@GothamChess On the Pickford contact outside the box ref definitely blew the call but because there were two defenders behind him it wasn’t DOGSO according to the TV guy who was a ref. Since it was then only a yellow card offense it’s not reviewable
@NightSkyKing_ I think the story is a masterpiece but you have to work insanely hard to get that story which admittedly is easier with the royal edition and the DLC (played in the right order) but you still need to consume so much external media and read codecs and whatnot to full appreciate it
@Sebbywebz Love your series on awesome PS1 openings I’d nominate this one for your consideration as the consoles most mind blowing opening https://t.co/kXjSQJrZwt
@Sebbywebz @oceanz0602 To paraphrase another even more famous example of character assassination, Jaime Lannister, “I’ve never cared much for Red XIII, OG or otherwise”. My heretical take aside I’m with you that the games were absolutely a sequel so the use of the term ‘remake’ is misleading
@Sebbywebz Chrono Cross was the fist ever Square game I’ve ever disappointed in. The story was just so nonsensical and the many characters were just so shallow. Everything you feel playing FF12 I felt playing CC but I felt I had to finish it cause it had to get better but it never did.
@Sebbywebz@AndrewDarovich I actually liked ff8 the best in 1999 because I loved all the weird mechanics like draw and the music and presentation was mind blowing but as I got older still love it but it’s now 5 of 5 of the golden age.The refining (which I had no idea of in 1999) makes the game kinda broken
@Sebbywebz Xenogears (which was originally developed to be FF7 but deemed to be too dark) is a Masterpiece on par with the glory ff games of the era that after not enjoying ff12 (so far at least and while I’m an optimist I’m not insane) that I think your stream would be hyped for
@Sebbywebz@DonOskii I agree with a lot of your criticisms but I find the music to be incredible and I say this as someone who has LOTR and FF music in my playlists. They use the excuse that technology didn’t allow them to make the finished product they envisioned but that truly is the case w/remake
@Sebbywebz I’m not a remake defender but if I have a major criticism of OG it’s the tonal whiplash of Aerith death immediately followed by a dreadful snowboarding minigame. The game’s still a masterpiece but square has always towed the line of silliness even in the golden age
