We have intelligence data indicating that Russia is preparing for a new massive attack. It is important that all our partners know what is happening and that Russia continues to rely on missiles and further war, not diplomatic steps. First of all, this means that additional sanctions pressure on Russia is needed and that the implementation of our air defense arrangements with partners cannot be delayed.

Claims that the Baltic States allow Ukraine to use their airspace are utter nonsense - and Russia knows it.

Moscow’s threats against the Baltic States are not a sign of strength, but of weakness.

Russia is failing on the battlefield in Ukraine and is trying to intimidate us into reducing our support for Ukraine.

The right response is to do the opposite: increase our support to Ukraine and boost Europe’s defences even further.

Amerykanie de facto będą kończyć rotacyjną obecność swoich wojsk w Europie wschodniej i środkowej.
Podjęta decyzja nigdy nie została oficjalnie ogłoszona. Napisał o dwa dni temu Bloomberg i Politico, ale żadne z tych dość wiarygodnych źródeł nie było w stanie podać konkretów. Powoływano się na przecieki. O tej decyzji mówi natomiast minister obrony Litwy, Robertas Kaunas.

Z tego co dowiedziały się te źródła (i minister) to "wstrzymanie na czas przeglądu strategi światowego rozmieszczenia sił". Sami Amerykanie nie mówią o odwołaniu (cancellation), ale o wstrzymaniu (zamiennie używają określeń, że rotacja has been "suspended" albo "paused").

To ściema. Amerykanie kończą obecność rotacyjną w Europie Wschodniej. Zaczęło się od Rumunii już jesienią 2025 r., ale nikt nie dawał jebania, bo to jakaś tam Rumunia, a nie naród wybrany czyli Polska, który ma tak wspaniałe relacje z USA. Amerykanie dość mocno ograniczyli swoją obecność w Rumunii

Stany Zjednoczone wycofały z Rumunii stacjonującą rotacyjnie brygadę należącą do 101. Dywizji Powietrznodesantowej (101st Airborne Division) oraz wstrzymały jej dalsze rotacje. Amerykańscy żołnierze pełnili dotąd służbę w strategicznej bazie wojskowej Mihail Kogălniceanu w pobliżu Konstancy nad Morzem Czarnym.

W Rumunii pozostał stały kontyngent liczący około 900–1000 amerykańskich żołnierzy, personel logistyczny lotnictwa w bazie Mihail Kogălniceanu oraz System obrony przeciwrakietowej Aegis Ashore w Deveselu (taki jak u nas w Słupsku) - US Navy.

Do Polski nie trafi 2. BPanc z 1. DKaw (4000 żołnierzy), ale zostanie szkieletowe wysunięte dowództwo V KA w Camp Kościuszko w Poznaniu, batalionowa grupa bojowa w Bemowie Piskim, huby logistyczne w Powidzu i w Rzeszowie (Jasionka) oraz mniejsze elementy logistyczne i łączności w Skwierzynie, Żaganiu, Świętoszowie i Trzebieniu.

Państwa Bałtyckie mają nieoficjalne info, że amerykańskie jednostki obecne na Litwie i w Estonii dokończą swoją misję i zostaną wycofane bez rotacji. Niby nie ma oficjalnej decyzji.

Węgry, Słowacja i Bułgaria zostały objęte tą samą decyzją administracji Donalda Trumpa o redukcji kontyngentów, która dotknęła Rumunię. Pod koniec 2025 r. Pentagon oficjalnie zapowiedział ograniczenie i wstrzymanie rotacji amerykańskich sił bojowych w tych trzech krajach, sprowadzając obecność USA w tym regionie do wymiaru symbolicznego lub czysto logistycznego. Szczególnie z Bułgarii wycofaną drugą z brygad 101. DPSz. Na Bałkanach orły się już nakrzyczały.

Amerykańska decyzja nie została ogłoszona oficjalnie. Informuje się o poszczególnych krokach w sposób ogólnikowy, wysyłając maila do niższych szczebli, stawia się przed faktem dokonanym, na uporczywe pytania polityków odpowiada się, że wszystko jest git, po czym się okazuje na gruncie, że kurwa nie jest git. Że robi się Europę w bambuko.

Jednocześnie spotkanie na Alasce z Putinem (VIII 2025 r.) i z Xi Jinpingiem (V 2026), a dopełnieniem tego będzie spotkanie Putina z Xi Jinpingiem 20 maja.
USA realizują prośbę Putina o wycofanie wojsk NATO (USA) poza granice państw przyjętych do NATO po 1997 r.

Nie jest wykluczone, że Amerykanie zostawiają Europę Putinowi. Chcąc mu ułatwić likwidację konkurencji, grają na rozbicie Europy od środka. Wspierają partie antyeuropejskie (AfD, Konfę, Fidesz, itd.).
I żądają Grenlandii. Rosjanie nie mają szans na przejęcie Grenlandii. Ale gdyby podporządkowały sobie Europę, to Grenlandia wpada w ich łapy z automatu. Dlatego USA chce Grenlandię ZANIM do tego dojdzie.

Rzeczywistość jest tak szalona, że przeżywam szok. Ludzie, obudźcie mnie, to się nie dzieje. Jak by co, to ładnych kilka lat temu przypięto mi (też nie słusznie) łatkę amerykańskiego lobbysty.
Tak, byłem zachwycony Ameryką.
Ale tym co się dzieje dostałem kopa w dupę, by nie powiedzieć dosadniej.

Pocieszam się, że jeszcze lepszą odklejkę zaliczyli wąchacze kleju piszący, że "Tusk popsuł stosunki z USA".
Jakby nie widzieli tego co wyżej, że to się dzieje systemowo i dotyczy całej Europy wschodniej. Pokazują tym swoją całkowitą indolencję i niezrozumienie międzynarodowych procesów.

Ukraine’s total casualties are about two to three times lower than Russia’s, but its civilian casualties are dozens of times higher.

This is categorically false. Not merely a stretch, but a straight-up lie.

Congress (not Biden alone) appropriated roughly $188 billion total for Ukraine-related support from 2022–2024. NOT $350 billion.

Of that, the bulk (~$110–130B in security/military categories) stayed right here in the U.S., paying American defense contractors & replenishing our own stockpiles.

Actual direct financial ("cash") support to Ukraine was roughly $31–38B. Those funds were tracked by the World Bank and were audited by firms like KPMG & Deloitte. We were not writing blank checks.

It's extremely frustrating to watch this President demonize an ally while downplaying Putin as the aggressor. This administration has ended new U.S. financial/military support for Ukraine (they can buy via the EU if needed). Combined with eased sanctions on Russia and the President's moral ambiguity on the war, it is just a complete betrayal that I will never, ever understand.

Polls show that the vast majority of Americans are very much clear eyed about this — we support Ukraine and we sympathize with Ukraine. Our President does not reflect that majority view.

Forty years ago, the world faced one of the largest nuclear disasters – the fourth reactor of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded. A significant amount of radioactive material was released. Hundreds of thousands of people have been dealing with the consequences of that tragedy for years.

To contain the radiation, a sarcophagus was built over the destroyed reactor. Later, more than 40 countries enclosed it with the New Safe Confinement to prevent further disasters.

These two structures are what protect against radioactive releases and contamination. Their maintenance and protection are in everyone’s interest. But through its war, Russia is once again bringing the world to the brink of a man-made disaster – Russian-Iranian “shaheds” regularly fly over the plant, and one of them struck the confinement last year.

The world must not allow this nuclear terrorism to continue, and the best way is to force Russia to stop its reckless attacks.

We remember everyone who gave their lives while dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy. May all the victims of the Chornobyl disaster rest in peace.
