the biggest crypto exchange just got hit by a reported $6b hack, and the market barely reacted. felt like a typical monday dump.
pretty mild considering the scale of it. wondering if there's another leg down coming.
$KAS $TAO $NOCK $TIG
I completely agree. But people should also understand where Kaspa’s founder, Dr. Yonatan Sompolinsky (@hashdag), comes from.
His grandfather, Professor David Sompolinsky, was a distinguished microbiologist at Bar-Ilan University and a Holocaust hero who helped rescue hundreds of Danish Jews from Nazi persecution.
His father, Professor Haim Sompolinsky, is a pioneering physicist and theoretical neuroscientist affiliated with Harvard and the Hebrew University. He won the 2022 Gruber Neuroscience Prize and shared the 2024 Brain Prize, one of neuroscience’s highest honors.
Now comes Yonatan Sompolinsky: Kaspa’s founder, a Harvard postdoctoral researcher, and a co-creator of GHOST and GHOSTDAG. Three generations of extraordinary scientific accomplishment. This man comes from a family that knows what it means to achieve.
To me, he is a once-in-a-generation mind—the kind of talent you associate with a Leonardo da Vinci or an Einstein within his field. He is driving what I consider the best research and development team in cryptocurrency, pushing the boundaries of distributed consensus, transaction speed, scalability, and proof-of-work security. They are tackling the fundamental challenge of how fast a decentralized monetary network can operate while remaining secure.
It’s beyond my understanding why more people aren’t buying at these prices and buckling up for an extremely enjoyable, exciting ride of discovery and accomplishment in proof-of-work cryptographic programmability.
Bitcoin opened the door. That contribution is historic. Kaspa’s ambition is to carry that breakthrough forward and build the infrastructure for the financial and cryptographic demands of the next several decades.
That is the magnitude of what I believe we’re watching.

the real test now is getting more apps and users into the ecosystem. the tech is there, the community is strong, but there's still plenty to prove.
i've got high hopes for $KAS. hope it doesn't let me down. feels like we're just getting started.
1/4
i still think $KAS deserves more attention. around $1b mcap, a huge community, and devs who keep building. plenty of projects from the same era have a lot less to show for it.
3/4
dagknight, 100 bps and vprogs are what i'm looking forward to next. faster confirmations, more throughput and new possibilities for devs. there's still a lot to build, but i like where kaspa is heading.
my $TAO bag is in @wearetalisman, staked on root via taobot. haven't touched it in a year. avg is a bit high, but i'm fine with it.
is talisman safe long term? where do you keep yours? i use @Tangem for other bags, but no TAO staking there
exit target $1000 - $1500
started buying $TIG around $0.6. looking to add more at $0.4 and $0.3 if we get there. planning to take profits above $1, but watching how support holds for now.
any $TIG holders here? what's your avg entry?
been looking at $TIG for a while and finally picked some up at these prices. the price action hasn't been great, but the fundamentals still look solid to me. i like the approach to algorithm discovery and how OPoW rewards actual performance
been accumulating $kas since 2022. made my biggest buys in 2023 and 2024, when fomo pushed my average up a bit. haven't sold a single. i'm underwater like most holders, but not too worried. i believe in kas, especially dagknight
$0.40 in 2027-28 would make me pretty happy 💃
@mrbvdon agreed. i think a lot of them sold at a loss and now don't want to see anyone else make money. if you've already dumped your $KAS bags, why keep showing up under every post spreading fud? never understood that
kaspa has a pretty diehard community. almost a cult. holders keep stacking, following development, and doing dca regardless of price.
then there's the other side. accounts that seem to exist just to spread fud under every $KAS post.

@n_xddy there's some truth to that. projects that stopped building and generate no real value will eventually fade. but i don't see $KAS in that position yet. there's still a lot to build.
look at $ZEC, an old project that recently made the top 10. i don't think we can generalize this
