For the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, a due date of PT - Professional Tax has been PREPONED — from 31st March to 15th March 2026. This is unprecedented & deeply unfair to lakhs of honest taxpayers.

To make matters worse:
- The Mahagst portal is NOT working
- Businesses & professionals CANNOT file returns or make payments
- Taxpayers are WILLING to comply — the system is NOT letting them

Penalizing taxpayers for a government portal failure is absolutely unjust.

We strongly demand an immediate extension of the PTRC and PTEC deadline till 31 May and make portal working by 31 March

After the introduction of the Company Compliance Fresh Start Scheme (CCFS) by the MCA, many companies are planning to file long-pending financial statements.

However, a practical issue has arisen with the UDIN) system of our ICAI.

Since UDIN can be generated only within 60 days, many old financial statements cannot now be linked with UDIN.
Considering the intent of the scheme, requesting ICAI to consider introducing a one-time UDIN relaxation/exemption window for past documents being filed under CCFS so that companies and professionals can genuinely benefit from the scheme. 🙏🏻

Otherwise, professionals may be forced to adopt workaround approaches like freshly signing financial statements only for UDIN generation, which may not always be the most technically appropriate solution.

A small regulatory relaxation here could go a long way in ensuring that the objective of compliance regularisation under CCFS is achieved smoothly.

Yesterday President of India visited Shegaon ( Dist: Buldhana, Maharashtra) and had Darshans of Sant Gajanan Maharaj.

Gajajan Maharaj was a disciple Of Lord Rama & Vithhala. Many treat him as a reincarnation of Dattatreya & Ganesha. Lakhs of devotees visits this largest temple in Vidarbha region each year.

Various form of Discipline , GoodGovernance & Transparency is observed here as follows.

1) There is no concept of Paid or VIP Darshans here. Whoever you are, you have to be in que to get Darshans.

2) There is strict and pin drop silence in Samadhi area. No need for any volunteer to guide you for same.

3) There are no touts in and around temple area.

4) All Dharmshalas are controlled and managed by Temple trust , rates highly subsidised.

5) You also have option of enjoying FREE Meals , transport within city, Stay. Many utilise the same. Even the Paid meal and transportation is subsidised.

6) The temple and most of the trust premises are volunteered by persons known as Sevekaris who enroll themselves months before so as to be able to get registered as volunteers , no remuneration is paid to them and it is a social service by them.

7) Shegaon has a tourist attraction called "Anand Sagar", It is maintained by the Temple trust. It surrounds a big artificial lake. It has a meditation centre, an aquarium, temples, play grounds, lush green lawns and open theatre where fountain-show is conducted for entertainment. It has been beautifully decorated with state of art artefacts and carvings all over.

I am sure many of you have not visited this place will surely make it a point to visit it to observe pure & pious Bhakti & Shanti here in this era of Over commercialisation.

How my brother almost lost ₹7.5 Lakh by a simple mistake⬇️

My brother runs a dairy farm business. Recently, he made a serious mistake by accepting payment from an unknown customer into his personal savings account via UPI.

What happened?

•A customer paid ₹20,000 to my brother for dairy products.

•Later, it was discovered that this customer had committed fraud with another person.

•The original victim filed a complaint with the Cyber Cell.

Chain Lien Explained

When the Cyber Cell investigated, they found:

•The actual fraudster had no balance in his account.

•So, the Cyber Cell followed the transaction chain.

•This led them to my brother’s account, where the money had landed.

•As a result, my brother’s bank account was put under debit freeze and a lien was marked.

The real problem started here
Although my brother received only ₹20,000, multiple complaints were filed on the same transaction:

1First complaint – ₹20,000 (from the same buyer)

2Second complaint – ₹11,000 (from Patiala, for the same transaction)

3Third complaint – ₹10,000 (again on the same transaction)

4Fourth complaint – ₹421 (from Robertsganj)

📌 Total lien amount: ₹43,921
📌 Actual money received: ₹20,000

Despite receiving only ₹20,000, the bank marked liens for the combined complaint amounts.
Resolution attempt

•My brother visited the Cyber Cell in Jaipur.

•He settled the first complaint and submitted a written representation to the police.

•After this, he requested the bank to remove the debit freeze.

Bank’s response:

•The bank refused to lift the freeze.

•They stated that all complaints must be cleared, regardless of the amount actually received.

•His account balance of ₹7.5 lakh remains frozen due to a lien of ₹43,921.

•He was treated as if he were at fault, despite being an indirect and unknowing recipient.

Key takeaway🚨

This situation highlights a serious issue:

•Accepting money from unknown or unverified sources can lead to legal and financial trouble, even if you are innocent.

•Chain liens can result in amounts higher than what you actually received.

•Small businesses and individuals are especially vulnerable.

Please avoid accepting payments from unknown persons, especially into personal savings accounts.
