@CaravanNut Thanks so much David, everything crossed for him, quite windy which he won’t appreciate but he’s battled that before at this venue so fingers crossed :)
Noticeably more comments on the YT channel the past few days, doesn’t seem to have brought out the best in people though… inc. one who’s happy to waste their life watching something that apparently doesn’t make any sense, then compound their lost time by commenting about it…
@archerygb Enjoyed the trade show. Highly disappointing though that junior compounds are sharing target faces at the NATIONAL champs when they shoot adult weight bows and arrow diameters and thus had individual 3 spots at counties and regionals. Poor show just to save 18 pieces of paper!!!
Hi @VWCV_UK_Media is the Reading franchise still open? Your online service booking system has produced a fault every time I’ve tried booking over the past 3 days, and nobody’s responding to phone calls (either via service or sales line…) or emails at the van centre… thanks!
Sorry for my absence, we’ve been doing a lot of this! At the Junior National Series Final today, son managed to qualify :) Van and/or caravan have been out and about around the country but as support wagon (snack storage on wheels) and I don’t have the capacity to film too!
Hurm, not impressed with the new “improved” eco version of these groundsheet pegs. Light grey ones ~5years old, none bent, just needed more. Brand new black topped ones, 1st time used, bent!!!
@CaravanVlogger@stevewills465 Didn’t charge me! Did get attacked by a seagull who stole 1/2 my conference welcome reception fish and chips!!! I should have been paid danger money…
Pitched at Brighton! Here for a conference hence caravan as peace and quiet alternative to a hotel :) No sign of @CaravanVlogger could have swore he was a permanent resident of pitch 85....
@CaravanNut@CaravanChron near enough (81.2Kg) BUT that assumes the nose weight gauge is off by 10degrees, 20degrees off and the actual nose weight will be 85Kg ie not a massive difference by the time the gauge is so obviously not vertical even a person who’s been at the wine could tell ;-)
@CaravanNut@CaravanChron be 98.5Kg. Put a spirit level on nose weight gauge to check vertical if needed to be precise… Banana for scale… Arrow turned into pen for explanation of why delay in responding ;-) hope that helps :) /end
@CaravanNut@CaravanChron e.g. too see what difference this makes multiply the force by the cos of the angle between perfectly vertical and the actual angle of the nose weight gauge. e.g. with 100kg of actual nose weight and the gauge being 10degrees off perfectly vertical the apparent measurement will /2
@lammypies1 Snap, though son & I were at the loaded end today… but shouting at footballers and dog walkers (all of whom decided to walk past a safety gate, 4 tall cones with red flags in the top, and a tall red flag attached to aforementioned safety gate) to get off the live firing range…
