Speculation but I wouldn't be surprised if the WRN withdrew the court papers because they knew they were going to lose and were concerned of the implication that would have for their rights in the future
They could have set a precedent in court that might have affected GCs
I'm not here to debate or engage with transphobes. It's like trying to argue your way out of a burning building. I'd rather shit in my hands and clap, thanks very much.
Breaking:
A women’s health campaigner and former local Labour women’s officer has been banned from the party’s women’s conference because she is trans.

The responses I've received from anonymous accounts since last night calling me a creep, a danger to kids, insinuating that I'm a pedophile etc have definitely dismantled my argument that transphobes are unreasonable and vicious.
Well done, I have been truly proven wrong...
Oh, look it's 'Belfast Based Drag Artist' @CaraVanParke__ worried about the drying up of the revenue stream made up of middle-class idiots like Alison Morris and their poor, trusting kids

Considering Sex Matters keeps trying to pass itself off as a women's group, they have a LOT of men on their advisory group and board.
Could they not have found women for those positions?
Surely a 'feminist org" would make an effort to give opportunities to women? 🤔
James Esses presents himself as a therapist, but he is not a qualified therapist. He was dismissed from Childline following safeguarding breaches, yet continues to position himself as an authority on young people & trans healthcare despite having no qualifications or expertise.
@HannahMatha@Glinner How can anyone engage when any difference of opinion brings out the absolute dregs, people women need protected from, into the debate? Until the GC movement distance themselves from the far right, no one can have a sensible, safe or honest debate on this issue
@pilgrim1889@FeileBelfast@AllisonMorris1 I had to take a break from my therapy work with trans clients because I had burned out from it. It was just awful how much pain they were in, and that I was so useless to do anything to help them.
In the aftermath of the last few days regarding NIWRN, Sex Matters, @FeileBelfast and @AllisonMorris1 I wrote an opinion piece about the GC/Transphobic movement and their real aims - that cruelty is the point.

In short, the court ruled @SexMattersOrg arguments are based on mere assumption, unsupported common sense, straw arguments, fallacious question begging, & a # of hypotheticals & unsupported counterfactuals rather than established fact. Essentially, they’re based on a lot of ifs.
