@dylanmallman And that's precisely why their apologetics are unfalsifiable. "You may have brought up 10 valid points, but I feel a burning in my heart, so I win."
@CHS_Seminary@tscottme@BenZeisloft Please reconsider your position instead of running away. Realize LDS doctrine stands entirely on spiritual delusion, and that "personal revelation" is very much not infallible. It's what every single cult turns to as a justification, not Christianity.
@CHS_Seminary@tscottme@BenZeisloft So it's a combination of more circular arguments? The Genesis situation tells any reasonable person everything they need to know about JS. The supposed historical evidence is also very convenient (e.g. it's all burned now).
@CHS_Seminary@tscottme@BenZeisloft See, this is a circular argument, you have provided no epistemological justification for why you believe it. "I believe it because it feels good when I believe it". Even your theological arguments are circular, "Joseph Smith is a prophet because his rendition of Genesis says so".
