Media leaks links to players, then media say don’t want to join Newcastle. Rinse repeat. Now just take a moment to look at every signing this season including the manager. Absolutely not a sniff from anyone until it’s practically a done deal. If we’re linked with a player I’m as good as sure it won’t happen. Getting too obvious now. #nufc

⚫️⚪️ It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to interview Bruno Guimaraes over the years - and he should leave Newcastle as one of the greatest signings in the club’s recent history.
🏆 Not only for leading Newcastle to the Carabao Cup and the Champions League - but also for the talisman he’s been on the pitch, the captain he’s been for the club and the person he’s been for the city.
🎤 From sitting down with him on his first day, to every interview we’ve done since, he’s been a joy to be around. An adopted Geordie, I’ve seen first hand how much he’s lived and loved every moment on Tyneside through every goal, every celebration and every success.
🖤🤍 A captain. A leader. And a special person who in his own words that day in March 2025, entered the pitch a Newcastle player - and leaves a legend. Thank you @brunoog97
🇧🇷 Joelinton was actually in the same Hoffenheim squad as Matthias Jaissle back in the day and the two have a good relationship which may play a factor in the Brazilian forgetting about a move to Saudi Arabia.

Every time I see a player dump us,be it Tonali,Gordon,Bruno,Isak,it reminds me how lucky we are to have 1 man that would NEVER do that. A real #NUFC legend. Gets some shit but my god hes lived the dream & provided us with historic moments. Where do you want your statue Dan Burn!

🗣️ Matthias Jaissle's first words as #NUFC boss:
“It is an incredible honour to become head coach of Newcastle United. This is one of the biggest clubs in European football, with a unique history, identity and supporter base, and I am excited to experience that passion and connection first-hand.
“When Newcastle United comes your way, you take notice. The ambition of the club, the vision for the future and the opportunity ahead made this an incredibly compelling place to be. I have followed the club's journey closely in recent years and the progress that has been made is clear for everyone to see.
“I am incredibly excited about the future. I fully and unreservedly believe in this project, the ambition and the direction the club is taking. There is a clear vision, strong leadership and an exceptional platform to build on.
“My teams are built on togetherness, hard work, intensity and a passion to improve every single day. I will bring full commitment, full energy and a determination to give everything I have to help this club achieve its ambitions.
“I believe there is enormous potential within this squad and throughout the football club. I am excited to work with the players, staff and leadership team to help take the club forward.
"I cannot wait to get started and will attack this opportunity. I give my complete commitment and total energy to bringing further success to Newcastle United."
Bruno Guimaraes has landed in Murcia, Spain for Newcastle United’s pre-season training camp at La Manga Club.

Gutted. Never been in the Howe Out Army ever.
Can only think he’s gone due to his frustration on the current state of the transfer market (and other seasons).
Before ANYONE slags him off. Remember his successes.
Good luck Eddie (and assuming Mad Dog too) 🥹 #NUFC 🖤🤍🖤🤍
No matter how it may have ended, this man needs to be remembered for his time at the club. An amazing man who just got what it meant to be Newcastle manager, forever grateful. 🖤🤍

Hounded out. The greatest manager in Newcastle United's history. He saved us from relegation, reunited the city with the club, gave us two Champions League campaigns & ended 56 years of hurt to bring us a trophy. He deserves a statue beside Sir Bobby outside SJP. #EHBAWA 💔 #NUFC
🇧🇷🚨 UPDATE : Newcastle United insist they have received no formal approach from Arsenal for Bruno Guimaraes.
The Magpies also deny reports of club-to-club talks over a deal worth around £80M and still expect their captain to return for pre-season as planned.
Newcastle United maintain nothing has changed regarding Guimaraes' future despite renewed transfer speculation.

It's fans like this who are making the atmosphere around Newcastle United toxic.😡
He's excited because we've sacked one of the greatest managers we've had, who improved every player he coached. If he was that bad why does everyone want our squad ? he took us on when others wouldn't as we looked doomed for relegation.
So being in the Champions League 2 years out of 4, reaching the last 16 of Europe, wasn't exciting? Reaching 2 finals in 4 years and winning our 1st trophy wasn't exciting?
But picking an unproven manager who has no experience at a club like Newcastle or managing in the biggest league in the world makes him feel like a 13-year-old. I am in disbelief
I get sent videos daily from friends and rival fans who support other clubs saying our fans are embarrassing and its videos from these influencers who only appeared once we were taken over ! spreading negativity and calling out the owners , the manager the players, and the worst thing is, the outside world actually think this is what a newcastle fan is!
These influencers only want an audience and clicks to raise their profile. But the damage this does to the club and the image it portrays to the outside world is a cancer to the club, and by following them just gives them a platform to do it.
This is not just aimed at this person, as there are others who the club, for some reason, has supported initially and given them a voice who are now using it against them.
If they fully understood what the club is about, use your media talent and if we are losing and need a pick up, use your influence to promote and support the team and manager rather than creating a dark cloud for others to laugh at.
Too many fans arrived after the takeover, seeing the riches, and seem to think success is an overnight guarantee because it happened at Man City. Maybe the owners even thought it would be easier, but as we have found out, nobody wants us to succeed, and therefore, red-taping everything so we can't compete.
The fans I'm talking about didn't live through the highs of the Keegan era, the misery of the Mike Ashley years, two relegations, players using wheelie bins and an inflatable swimming pool to cool down,a neglected stadium, poor training facilities, dwindling sponsorships, and watching the club slowly lose its identity.
Some lifelong supporters even gave up season tickets they'd held since childhood because they believed it was the only way to force change.
At one point, Newcastle fans were sending their talented kids to there rivals academy Sunlun because it was seen as a better pathway. That's how far we'd fallen.
Now, after just a few years of progress, these people expect us to win every week like it's a given right.
I actually think this is because they were lucky enough to see us lift a trophy or compete in the Champions League in such a short period.
Older fans, the ones who still packed out the stadium despite failure after failure , have patiently waited 70 years for this privilege.
Then suddenly we have a bad season in the league, and they called for Howe's head. He's suddenly crap and the owners don't care and the players aren't good enough.
Every manager goes through difficult periods. Howe had already proved he can turn things around when we had all the injurys , they called for his head then, and the very people demanding he be sacked were celebrating him a year later winning the cup.
If your support only lasts while we're winning, then you're missing what supporting NUFC is all about.
We aren't a London club with all its attractions where the top players want to be located, so we will always be fighting that battle. What we do have, which rival fans have always admired and has always set Newc apart, is the passion, loyalty, and backing of its supporters through good times and bad.
I was gutted when Bobby was hounded out. I'm gutted Howe's been hounded out. But still, I will support the new manager and players regardless.
📢 NUFC EXCLUSIVE | FROM SENIOR SOURCES 📢
Senior Newcastle United insiders have confirmed to NUFCNews24 this morning:
🚫 WE ARE STILL DENYING ANY TALKS OR BIDS FROM ARSENAL – THERE HAVE BEEN NONE
The club hierarchy are now genuinely frustrated with how this false narrative has spiralled. It is untrue, unhelpful, and clearly being pushed to unsettle players and create leverage for third parties.
Bruno Guimarães is 100% not for sale, fully contracted until 2028, and remains a core part of our future plans.
Ignore the noise from those pushing agendas – trust the word from inside Benton HQ. ⚫⚪
