Am I the only one who misses Roman Abramovich 💙

[abs🦦 @AG17__]

grown adults running a fruit stand trying to heckle a footballer whilst he is out with his wife is just mortifying really.

🥹🚨🔵 Roberto Di Matteo reminds us that football isn’t always about having the biggest plans or the most famous name.

Sometimes, it’s about believing in your team when everyone else has given up. 🏆💙

He took Chelsea to the promised land and delivered our first-ever Champions League trophy in 2012. A moment that will live forever in the hearts of every Blue. 🥹🏆

Never underestimate the power of belief. Chelsea Forever! 💙 🔵

[Football Away Days @AwayDaysFB]

Michael Owen has shared his thoughts on the modern game losing some of its imagination and it really strikes a chord with me personally...

“Back then, Football had soul. Beckham bending it from 40 yards, Pirlo slowing time, Scholes seeing passes before they existed. Now it’s press, run, recycle. Athletes everywhere, artists rare. We’ve upgraded engines & downgraded imagination.” 👏🗣

Have to say I agree, I am not sure if it's just an aspect of getting older and everything seeming more magical as a kid, but the Premier League and football doesn't seem as special as it once did in the early 2000s. It's such a shame really as looking back on those times you see some of the most special football ever played, today's game is more boring and stale...

@TorchWaver @TrevorNigel1981 @airey__b You're opinion on this doesn't matter to me, so I really couldn't care!

[FootballFan2000 @Cardiffboy25]

@TorchWaver @TrevorNigel1981 @airey__b Well you reckon wrong 😂

[FootballFan2000 @Cardiffboy25]

@TorchWaver @TrevorNigel1981 @airey__b I wasn't bragging 😂 I was simply making a comment that I climbed that mountain when I was a child 🤦‍♂️

[FootballFan2000 @Cardiffboy25]

@TorchWaver @TrevorNigel1981 @airey__b I don't even know the girl and I've not got that much of a boring life, to make a story up like that to some random girl on twitter 😂

[FootballFan2000 @Cardiffboy25]

@TorchWaver @TrevorNigel1981 @airey__b Why would I make it up? I live in Wales and Brecon isn't far away from me. It was very real, I can tell you that now 😂🤦‍♂️
