youku officially unveiled "A Clear Midsummer Day" at today's conference. the upcoming drama is set to be a sequel to The Early Spring and reunites the same creative team.

no casting details have been revealed so far, but the character Weibo accounts of Luke and Flora have already shared the announcement as well. i've seen some c-drama fans who've experienced sequels to dramas they loved before mention that the cast may be changed. still, i'm secretly hoping we might get a cameo from Boran and Sunqian, even if it’s just a small one.

but honestly, even if they don't appear at all, I'll still be super excited because i genuinely love TES & the entire creative team behind this project! please don't set your expectations too high, and let's remember to respect and welcome the upcoming cast when they're announced.
