I want to inform all of my non-Swiftie followers, who generally cringe at Taylor Swift, that the reason she is like this is because she's *always* been like this. She has a very good relationship with her parents. There is no drama. They all still spend holidays and important life events together. She also has a very good relationship with her brother, who was the "man of honor" so to speak at her wedding.

People mischaracterized Taylor Swift as that "singer who complains about men" because a number of her songs are about heartache. They conveniently ignore the half of her catalogue where she sings about being in love or wanting to be in love. Many of those songs (since she was even 16 years old!!) included a desire to be married. Her acting like this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who actually listens to her albums, and not whatever song just happens to make it across their social media page.
