Yu Nagaba, a Japanese artist born in 1976 in Tokyo, is known for his minimalist black-and-white line drawings. He collaborated with the Pokémon Trading Card Game in 2023, creating limited-edition promo cards and merchandise. His first collaboration featured Pikachu, followed by a second series including Eeveelution. The releases included exclusive deck boxes, sleeves, playmats, and binders that sold out within minutes both online and in stores. Each card featured Nagaba’s signature simple line art and his printed name.
