@WalkerIsGoated I could be wrong, but I really felt like the last couple months of the season were Gorman's last chance.
Maybe they think they can figure something out with him, but I wouldn't be shocked if 2026 was his last year in STL
@byajstone I've flirted with the idea of moving them in as it became a topic of discussion this year, but I think you're thinking about it correctly.
I also wonder if the Millennium Hotel being torn down will affect things at all
@BallDataGuy@gallin_ben@Cardinals In 2026AD Jordan Walker is hitting .279 with 28 HR, 20 SB, 100 RBIs (Tied for 3rd in all of MLB) with a .820 OPS. By any reasonable standard that's considered at least a "good" season.
Again, still a lot of holes in his game. But any team would take that production.
@BallDataGuy@gallin_ben@Cardinals There are 29 other teams that have everyday players who hit in "opportunist spots" in the lineup, and Jordan walker is better than most of them.
Not saying he's flawless, or that he's one of the best overall players.
But again, to stay he's "below average" is simply incorrect.
@BallDataGuy@gallin_ben@Cardinals lol you said a player tied for 3rd in all of baseball in RBIs is "below average"
Walker still has holes in his game but he's pretty far from below average.
Bringing up the ROTY race is irrelevant and retarded.
