If advertisers were getting results from their X ads, or possibly If you posted data that showed that ads on this platform were effective and produced results, you would be in an entirely different position.

If your ads produce results, businesses would tell you they understand how difficult it is to completely eliminate hate on the platform.

If they don't produce results, there is no reason for a big company to fuck around and find out that their ads showed up next to a hateful post.

I can't tell you how many times I get Cheech ,(or is it Chong?) ads for CBD gummies. Shit I would never buy. ..

On other platforms ads sometimes are eerily relevant to my interests.

Pay attention.

The convergence is happening right before your eyes.

Whether you like it or not, reality as we know it will become indistinguishable from computer generations soon.

This will be a new world to navigate.

But I’m not only talking about images. Everything.

Images, videos, audio, text, and so on (use your imagination).

Everyone else goes the politics route, so I won’t. I’ll use something much simpler and close to my heart.

“What does that have to do with anything?”

I love this video. It changed my life. Changed how I think about the world. How I think about what I’m capable of.

But future generations might not get that experience.

I know this is a sub-niche experience (😭waa waa poor me). But think about something simple you enjoy and replace my example with that.

But my point remains the same.

Future generations won’t be able to tell the difference between this authentic video and the 100s, if not 1,000s, of AI generated replicas.

It will be the same format, scenery, voice, person, etc.

BUT, the message will be different. Some will be messages of inspiration. Some of comedy. And some of fear.

Nonetheless, authenticity may become scarce.

“How do we solve this - to make sure we know what’s real?”

I know of one current solution to solve this (no it’s not Worldcoin - not saying Worldcoin couldn’t work).

I might share my thoughts on this in a longer format, but not today.
