The CCS MAS parent information evening was a great success! Parents and carers were given the opportunity to receive vital information from our MAS leads and subject specialist how we challenge our high flying students!

The #BeMe digital inclusion programme aims to raise one million female aspirations in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths related careers. Our Year 10 students visited Ciena and Colt’s London offices. Ciena is a networking systems, services, and software company.

Guest speaker Mahdi Rahmani from New City College came in to speak to our Year 9 students about all the Post-16 Pathways available to them once they leave CCS. It was really interesting and our students enjoyed it. Thanks @NewCityCol #post16

Our Year 8 students have been taking part in marine STEM workshop for Year 8 students. They learnt about different pathways into Marine Engineering. During the workshop students made their own boats using only foil, paper and tape to hold 256 marbles in water! Great work! #STEM

Our year 10 students visited the offices of the law firm Clifford Chance yesterday. As part of their ongoing mentoring programme, it gives our students access to support and guidance in achieving their personal goals.

Yesterday at The London Schools' Climate Kick-Start event hosted by @CareersHubEast. Year 8 and 9 @cumberlandcst students had the opportunity to virtually visit COP27 in Egypt, join creative workshops with businesses helping tackle climate change and learn about green careers.
