For many who give care, there is no choice, no support, no respite. They survive, but cannot thrive. As a society, we owe them more than encouragement and gratitude. We owe them the resources to make practical decisions about how care is accomplished.

YES! Caregiving Cafe is working with our local school district in Austin, TX, to identify students, teachers, staff & families who are caregiving for a Loved One. Our goal is to bring resources, education, fellowship, coping skills & wellness habits to add to their days.
Young carers are on the rise in UK schools, but a significant number remain unidentified. This gap means they miss out on crucial support. The UK is right to prioritize identifying these young caregivers. The US should do the same.
