The nightmare has arrived and our Government continues to build up our fossil fuel capacity that can only contribute to more global warming of our planet

[Prof. Eliot Jacobson @EliotJacobson]

Breaking News!

Well humanity, we did it, even if just for one day. Yesterday, Nov. 18, was the first time in recorded history that the global 2m surface temperature breached 2.0°C above the 1850-1900 IPCC baseline.

The long-term average remains below 1.5°C. But not for long.

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

A lucky day indeed😊

The Government obviously believes wuth haven't got enough crappie in our rivers

[Double Down News @DoubleDownNews]

BREAKING: Government to weaken Water pollution legislation.

As if UK rivers needed any more crap @georgemonbiot

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

At Global Birdfair this weekend and bumped into this lovely lady Hannah Bourne-Taylor talking about all things swifts and the need to build swift bricks in modern buildings

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

Great timing of this campaign by all to help Swifts 1-9 Julu 👏 with the debate on Making Swift Bricks compulsory in new houses on 10th July at 4.30pm at Westminster Hall - take the opportunity to contact your MP to get them to speak in favour of this development @WriterHannahBT

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

Living in the Thames Water area we know anybody could run this outfit better. Polluting our rivers, and running up huge debts which the tax payer will probably have to clear. A useless organisation, ofwat totally inept which all proves privatisation doesn't work

[Feargal Sharkey @Feargal_Sharkey]

"Government reportedly considering plans to take Thames Water into temporary public ownership."

Good God, can you imagine the current @DefraGovUK team of ministers running @thameswater?

That company is really screwed.

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

Isn't just amazing what you can achieve if you just try. Amazing result Hannah

[Hannah Bourne-Taylor @WriterHannahBT]

I asked the developer of this construction site to add swift bricks + they did😍Here are the village #HouseMartins collecting mud for their homes + circling the new swift bricks. Hopefully one day every house @neworbithomes builds will have a swift brick. ♥️🪶 #TheFeatherSpeech

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

Done

[Hannah Bourne-Taylor @WriterHannahBT]

Help THIS swift + its kind, along with 3 other red-listed birds. All you need to do is email me the name of your MP at [email protected] + I'll send you a briefing note to pass on to your MP so you can ask them to take part in #TheFeatherSpeech #debate

Great news on Scottish Wild Cats release in the Cairngorms

[Iolo Williams @IoloWilliams2]

Great news & good luck with this

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

At the Gaia exhibition that is on at Reading at present. This indicates just how fragile the earth is and how population growth and climate change is impacting on it.Well worth a visit

[Carey Widdows @careywiddows]

This persecution has to stop

[Michaela Strachan @michaelastracha]

Huge thank you to @FrankRGardner for his reports on raptor persecution on @BBCSpringwatch last 2 nights. So incredibly sad, while we are watching and celebrating birds of prey on our live cameras, others are brutally and illegally persecuting them. It has to stop. #springwatch
