I understood where she was coming from in her comments. When you reach certain ages and stages in life, you need to learn to, as I call it, “box in your weight class” when it comes to who you decide to become involved with. And one needs to also get real with themselves about who and what they can and want to attract in their lives. At some point the time for one’s “potential, or lack thereof” is over. Either you have it or you don’t. It’s no disrespect to someone else’s life path and career choices.

However, I think some people couldn’t take Eboni’s direct and to the point tone at the time of questioning. Which let’s face the facts, everyone is not going to receive and perceive what you are really saying. And that’s fair and your right not to. But just because she didn’t pour sugar and honey over her words, doesn’t make them untrue.

I completely 120+% agree with you! In my experience, most men think, act, and feel on physicality or loving someone who they really do not like as a person. No one wants to work for and at having a relationship. When you have and naturally exude attributions you would think everyone wants in a mate, like independent, nice, intelligent, confident, all around stable, gainfully employed etc. To those individuals you are too much of a challenge to be bothered with.

God is speaking and moving through you @Pastor__West 🙏🏽. Thank you! Less than a minute before this alert posting came through. I was saying out loud to God how I needed help. My mind, spirit and soul has been screaming all week for it. I am surround by people on my job who are not right within. And today, I had no more fight in me and found myself letting tears flow. Out of frustration, being physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted and being human. Even the strongest of steel breaks over time. So I am going to take inspirational spiritual words you gave and put in my entire being. Then pray it up to Him and tomorrow is a new day. No person can make or break me, because they did NOT make me! Amen!
