A section of the Chaguaramas Boardwalk, once promoted as a major recreational and tourist attraction, is showing signs of neglect, with members of the public calling for urgent repairs. Missing and unsecured boards along the 1,400-foot walkway have created potentially dangerous gaps, while a non-functioning toilet, foul odours, overgrown grass and debris have further marred the facility. Some rental structures have also fallen into disrepair, while cyclists using the walkway have raised concerns about safety for children and senior citizens.
